The first Chapter
Fallon
Growing up, my life was decent for the most part. I was always the shy, quiet, yet shit talker around friends. I was a lot bigger than most girls my age, but I was okay with that. I met my best friend Erika when I was in the 3rd grade and we've been thick as thieves since day one.
My life took a major turn for the worst, when my parents got a divorce when I was only 13 and my little sister Lee was 8 turning 9. The story behind that is complicated, all I know is my mom left us with our dad, and he became an alcoholic, which turn into him losing his job.
Being army kids, we moved a lot. But when my dad was kicked out of the army for failing a drug test I was only 16 years old which left me to feen for me and my sister.
Only able to work at McDonalds, I was able to buy new clothes and shoes for my baby sis, and only get personal things for myself. It was hard being that I was only a kid myself, but I'd do anything to make my little sis happy.
Being in high school and all the girls wearing make up, designer clothes, keeping their hair, and nails done, actually force me to go natural. By my senior year my dad had got clean as we stayed with our grandma for about two years.
Though I hated leaving my little sister, I knew the only way to give her a better life was for me to leave and go off to college; and hopefully make something of myself. Doing just that I now own one of the biggest clothing companies in the country "LWC Inc. B.K.A Ladies With Curves".
Though college was easy with Erika there with me, I went through a lot. Bullying, first heartbreak, depression, and anxiety issues. But, that's when we met our other best friend Lauren. She was the party, fun, and wild but innocent type girl. While Erika was the laid back, mature, mother type. We both can agree that Lauren balanced us out well.
Living here in L.A going on 4 years now, I love it. But, my besties want me to move to Atlanta, before we all graduated we made a pack that Atlanta would be the move. My sister is even in Atlanta, of course under the watchful eye of Erika.
Even though Aaliyah is 21 now, in my eyes she's still my baby sis. She's dying for me to move, but little do they know tomorrow I'll be touching down in Atlanta, and possibly do a little house shopping.
Speaking of Lee she's face-timing me now.
