13. Its Over

I meat up bad . I don't know what to do . I guess I'm just lost in this whole concept of everything that has happened. So many things have happened. I avoided seeing William , Hayley and even Derek today . I didn't go to the after school meet because I was scared I guess . Scared of ending things , everything I have had since I got here . I feel like that's the only thing I'm doing now , losing . Losing it all .

"Hey Emma I'm home ." Kate said closing the house door setting her things down . "Hey ." I said all sad and depressed. Not depressed of the situation just in my feelings I guess . "Hey what happened to your face are you okay ?" Kate asked grabbing my face . "Yeah I'm fine just a little scratch ." I said turning the tv on . When he hit me I didn't feel any pain , but I did . I didn't feel pain when he hit but I felt pain inside because I actually thought he was someone good . "We're watching one tree hill aren't we ?"Kate asked . "You can I have to go actually ." I said running upstairs to get my phone . My phone was on silent because of all the calls and text messages I was getting . "Well we're are you going ?" Kate asked. "I'm going over to Wills, I'll be back soon though ." I said grabbing my bag , "alright we'll have fun , if you know what I mean ." She said raising her eyebrows up and down . "You're disgusting." I said closing the door .

"Hey Emma ,." Williams mom said welcoming me in . "Hey , uhh is William home ?" I asked sitting . "Yes he's right upstairs, I'll call him for you sweet heart ." She said heading upstairs. My eyes were beginning to get teary as I heard him coming down . "Emma hey what's up ? How are you ?" He asked hugging me. "Will can we talk outside ?" I asked letting go . "Yeah , yeah come on ." He said heading to the front door . "How are you ?" He asked . "I'm okay , i just , i need to ask you something." I said . I new at this moment everything that had happen , was no longer something I knew would last or at least I thought would . "Was it you that beat up Derek ?" I asked . "Emma he deserved it , are you mad that I did beat him ? After what he did to you , your mad at me?" He asked letting go of my hand . "I'm not mad at you , I'm mad at myself , for not realizing all the wrong choices I have made since I've got here ." I said bursting into tears. "Emma look everything's going to be okay , alright ? We're going to be okay ." He said hugging me . "I'm sorry but it's not ." I said . "What do you mean ?" He said letting go of me once again. "I came here looking for peace and no drama , and especially-" he cut me off because I think he knew what I was going to say . "Especially what ? Especially me ?"

He asked sounding mad , i mean who wouldn't be at this point . "Huh , especially me because ever since I've met you Emma , my life has been sane , i actually know what I want for once and that's you ." He said grabbing me again , but I hesitate and pull back . "It's Derek isn't it ?" He asked stepping back . "No I. William I love you , i do . But it hurts loving you , and seeing you go through hell and back just for me , i want you to be happy , even if you aren't with me at all ." I said whipping my tears away . "Emma are you breaking up with me ? Emma I love you , Okay ? Isn't that enough ? Can't you see every choice I have made since you've got here has been for you , for you to be Better , for us , US ." He said grabbing my hand . "Emma there isn't a day that I won't stop loving you . Emma why are you doing this ? " he asked . Why was I ? That's the real question. "I don't know what it is okay , i don't know if it's because of Derek ? If it's because You love me so much it hurts ? Or if it's because you love the both but just can't admit it ? There are so many reasons why , and you just don't know why ? " he asked . "I do know why ! " i said screaming. "I made a promise to my mother that if I came here it would only be for school and then I would leave , i promised her no drama , no self harm , no violence and no relationships . I promised myself that , i promised my dead mother that ! I do love you William , but it's just not enough , I'm so sorry . I never wanted to hurt you , William I know you hate me but , I'm sorry ." I said balling my eyes out . "Your right i do hate you , and I never wanna see you again !" He said slamming his house door . "William I'm sorry !" I said running back home . I ran into my room , "Emma honey what's wrong ? Are you okay , Emma just talk to me ." Kate said knocking on my door . "I'm fine , i just wanna go to bed ." I said laying on my bed . "Alright I'll be out here if you need anything ." Kate said going back upstairs. I knew he would never forgive me , especially now that he hates me .
