"Dammit Claire. You are not so much better yourself! You think that limping around is doing you any good?! Well, it's not so get on."

I continued to protest until Isidora forcibably put me on her back to be carried. I struggled, but Isidora was stronger than I could ever be. Once I was put onto her back, I tried to wiggle off of her. Isidora decided to keep my in place by wrapping her arms around my legs. After a few moments of protesting, I gave in once again and just rested my elbow on her shoulder as if I didn't mind being carried in the first place.

Once we began to walk for a few seconds, there was a deafening ring echoing from the forest. At first, I had no idea what it was and then I felt this funny feeling in my pocket. I decided to reach into my pocket to discover the wierd feeling. Once I reached in, I touched what seemed like the source of the buzzing sound. Isidora put me down and everyone just looked at me as it continued to buzz.

"Um...er...I...Should I answer it?"

Leon chuckled, "That's up to you. It's your phone. Not many people have ones nowadays. Mind reading and telepathic communication is hip, Mrs. Old Skool."

I rolled my eyes and answered the phone.

Hello?"

"Hey, it's Mitri. How are you?"

Surprised to hear his voice, I thought I was dreaming! I was so happy to hear from him. I knew he would call to check on me sooner or later. He was  such a good guy.

I did laugh when he asked how I was though, " I've been better. How is everyone?"

Isidora quietly came next to me and asked if I would like some privacy and I nodded. Gathering their things, Isidora and the others gave me enough privacy where I could be comfortable that they weren't eavesdropping.

There was a bit of shuffling on the other line.

"Hello?" I asked to make sure someone was there.

"Hello?" A man said, however  it wasn't Mitri's voice.

I suddenly began to feel sick to my stomach when I heard the man's voice. I couldn't tell who was on the other land and that scared me. What if I was talking to some mass murder who just phonetapped where I was?! I laughed despite, the seriousness of my situation. I watched too many horror movies.

"Listen, I don't know who is on the phone nor do I care, but Mitri doesn't have time to talk. We are doing something important at the moment so it will have to wait."

"Oh, I see-"

When I heard the man speak for a longer period of time, my ears began to twitch and the mark on my neck began to burn. I knew exactly who was on the other line and I nearly fainted. It was Damien! Out of all people in this world, it was him! Tears came to my face, but I held them back. What would we talk about?! What I mean is that the last time I saw him was at the carnival. Would he ask why I left? Why I'm so stupid for leaving after he said he loved me? Why I....I began to breakdown as I spoke into the phone. I needed to hang up before I could feel worse about myself.

"Wait, don't hang up, Claire!"

"Why?" I snapped.

"I'm sorry. I thought you were someone else! Just please don't hang up."

I should hang up. I should hang up. I know I should, but I can't. I just can't....

"Claire, I'm so happy your're alright. Where are you? I've been looking everywhere for you."

"Yes, I'm alive." I said bitterly. It was more toward myself rather than at him for my own stupid decision to leave.

"Claire please come back. Please come home. Whatever I did, please forgive me."
