Chapter six

It was a perfect day. The birds were chirping, my sexy mate was next to me. All was good. Too bad it doesn't last forever.

Slam

Nate and I jolted up hearing a slam.

"Nathan Tanner Fires how dare you not tell me about her. I'm gonna whoop yow ass." I was shocked. I saw a lady mid thirties and boy did she look mad and crazy.

"Mom, whats wrong what did I do?" He held his face in
his hands a attempted to hide behind my body.

"What you did. It's what you didn't do. Why didn't you tell me you found your mate. I heard from Sam ( Sam is the beta) and here you are hiding her from me."

I bit my lip trying to contain my laughter. He groaned and sniffed my hair. Looks like the big bad alpha was scared of his mother. She turned to me and had a huge smile. I returned a sweet smile.

"Please tell me your his mate." She begged. I nodded.

"Your beautiful. I'm sorry for my idiot son." She glared at Nate.

"Mom we have to get ready for school." He whined.

She huffed and close the door. "You can't keep hear away from me. I'll get to her!" She yelled. I burst out laughing.

"You think that was funny. Wait till she gets a hold of you." He grinned.

"I'm pretty sure I can handle her." I smirked.

I strapped a knife to my ankle. A good thing was my shoes all had ejector knives in them. Time for school. Nate had insisted that he drive me. He had a blue porch

He opened the door from me earning a look. I guess chivalry isn't dead after all.

Nate's p.o.v

I opened the door for her and she gave me a look. I don't know how to describe it but it wasn't a happy one.

I got in and I drove to school. I took her hand and kissed her knuckles. I loved her so god damn much.

She put her head on my shoulder and signed in contentment.

When I first found out she was a assassin half of me was scared, pissed and just plain mortified and the other half was proud, happy and was filled with lust.

I was proud that she could fight and I was scared she could kill without feeling but she was the Devil's Daughter, she had to of earned her name. The moment she said she was leaving I wasn't having it.

I just found her and I wasn't going to let go. Not now. Not ever.

As long as I'm still breathing she will never leave me. I loved her from the first time I layed eyes on her. My mate. Mine.

Then things got heated and we mated.

Elena was my first. I was saving myself for my mate. Even though I'm a total bad boy player at school I never slept with any of them and Elena was worth the wait.

She layed her head on my shoulder. My wolf was purring and enjoyed that she was comfortable. At first I never thought she would be so accepting and affectionate because of the Devil's Daughter thing going on. I was dead wrong but I wasn't complaining.

After a full night of doing it I was happy and content and ready for round 13 😉.

She plugged her phone in and played the song on my mind by Ellie goulding and started singing.
