Chapter 15: Well, Now You've Pissed Me Off

Start from the beginning

I twitched, "I have a name!"

"See, hime-san?" Hak said cheekily, "Even Midori gets tired of him."

"Seiryuu-chan?" A sad looking Kija-san looked to me to see if what Hak said was the truth.

I was annoyed, so I turned away, "Don't bring me into this banter."

"It'll be impossible for a sheltered and pampered boy like you to survive in the real world," Hak shot at Kija-san.

"Hime-san, Seiryuu-chan! How is such a rude person like this a guard?" I twitched, but didn't respond. I didn't plan to respond to him until he used my name.

Yoon, the only logical person right now tried to figure out what was going on, "What happened to cause this?"

"Lord Hakuryuu gave me money and told me to go home," I froze. That wasn't happening. Hak wouldn't leave.

"So what's that bulge on your stomach?" Yoon inquired.

"Maybe I'm getting fat," Hak said looking away.

Kija-san tried to defend his actions, "Protecting the princess is the job of the four dragons, anyone who isn't a dragon can go!"

"No!"

.

.

.

I finally laughed when Yona finally spoke up. I whispered, "Hak's not leaving now."

"Hak's my childhood friend! Even after I left the castle. . . And after I became alone. . . He didn't abandon me and stayed by my side!" You're enjoying this, aren't you, Hak? "He's an important person to me! If he can't join us, then I don't want this!"

"Heh," yep, Hak's very happy, "heh heh heh heh heh heh," very, very, very happy. "Well, see?" Hak placed a hand on his head, "It's as she said. It can't be helped."

I snickered as Yona returned the money, "Give that back."

"If that is what the princess says. . ." Kija muttered, deflated.

"But, we need you as well, Hakuryuu-san," Yona is a very good peacemaker.

Hak looked down and muttered, "Where'd my fat go?" I snickered, causing Hak to give a small smirk of triumph, since I stopped ignoring him first.

"The way things are going now," Yona continued, "Hak will end up dying protecting me." Oh, no. This isn't going anywhere good, "So I wish for you to protect Hak," I snickered even louder, "so that he doesn't die."

Realization crossed both guys' eyes.

Kija-san smiled, "Oh! I see! You sought help because this man is weak! Of course, Hime-san! I will protect this man!"

"He's finding way too much joy in this," I said softly.

"It's fine," Hak said annoyed, "I haven't fallen so low to need protection from a white snake."

"You dare call a divine dragon a snake?!"

"That's what it sounds like," I muttered inspecting my nails. I did not care about how he felt right now, if all he saw was some stupid title, we weren't going to get along very well.

Kija-san turned to me, "He's basically insulting you as well!"

Just to annoy our new company, I turned to Hak, "Hak-nii wouldn't do such a thing. Am I right, Hak-nii?" Kija flinched every time the word 'nii' left my mouth.

"Seiryuu-chan," another of the many 💢 marks became visible on my head, "is this insolent man your brother?"

I looked him straight in the eyes and hissed, "Best one I could ever ask for." Hak made this face, it was an appreciative face where his eyes were wide and he looked like he was about to cry.

"B-but, he's not blessed with the power of the Seiryuu!"

I glared over, "So?"

"I'd shut up, white snake," Hak said smirking. "Anything you say will make her even madder."

Double update!

• I hope y'all weren't shipping KijaXMidori.

I kinda just killed that for this chapter.

• Sibling power guys! Teaming up against people they don't like. XD

• Did you know I write these on my phone? There's so many pop-ups when I use my laptop, that I don't even try anymore. Plus I have to use my manga streaming app so I can get done of this correct. It's easier than rewatching.

• Oh! This picture I found, and I've been waiting to post it until Kija was called white snake.

I appreciate the photo, hopefully you do as well.

• Oh! I also am glad because we're getting closer to Shin-Ah, how will this turn out? I guess I better figure that out, huh?

• Guys, also, let me know what you think! I don't want to force you into commenting for an update because I have a messed up enough update pattern as it is. BUT I do want to hear from you.

Thank you for the votes as well! Please keep reading everyone,
