Hey there !
So i just want to say a few things .
Every day is a constant battle for me
How you ask? Well i do this thing where i say jesus you can have it all every part of my world take this life and breathe on this life is now yours , do i really mean it? Yes
Do i do it? Not so much .
I believe we have good intensions , we want to know God , we want more of his presence in our lives , we want to be on fire for him , we want to be relentless for christ and brave souls for him
But the truth is its really hard.
Because our flesh wants exactly the opposite , we have this ego in all of us , that we have seen get puffed up now and then, whats sad is i can say God you can have every part of my world only to find myself being proud full the next 10 mins . I sometimes think that just because you are a christian and you love God your automatically free from evil habits that is if your alert and on your guard
But its time i realize that every day is a battle , yesterdays gone today is a new day with a whole lot temptations and evils your way , thats why you need jesus to constantly be your guide
And sometimes you will be labelled a jesus freak but id rather live for jesus and know his love, grace ,peace ,joy and eternal life than just live and die to sorrow , no joy and eternal condemnation
Its one thing to be saved and to know you are but christians lets not stop there!!
If we believe that we are being saved by the most powerful majestic supernatural being then why not get to know him intimately , strong word but why not!
And i gurantee you on this journey to know more of God it will be a battle
But you got to remind yourself each day who your fighting for and God has got your back ! Don't give up the journey is long and hard each day is a new day with all worst and best possible things but keep your eyes on him , persevere
Take courage dear heart
And when you seek him ( who is not far of i guarantee) you will find him !
