A Little Too Friendly

Hey Readers! This chapter is a little personal for me. I'm dealing with a lot of bull shit at the moment, and it's making me want to write. And also a little reminder, there is an order to couples! NaLu, Gale, and then Jerza! Anyhoo, here's Chapter 14 ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Natsu P.O.V

 Ever since Lucy and I reconciled, it's been nothing but a dream. We've talked a lot more, we eat lunch together, and we go over to each other's houses. She was becoming much more comfortable with my friends. It was as if the whole accident never happened.

I was waiting outside Lucy's apartment, ringing the door bell a few times. I heard a lot of loud noises coming from inside, making me a little nervous. Suddenly, I see Len bursting out of the door, yelling goodbye and sprinting away. What the hell? Suddenly, I turn around and see Lucy, her hair a huge mess and her hand not even through her sleeve. I cracked up laughing. "What the hell happened to you?"

"Woke up...late," she panted, "rushed...a little." I chuckled a little more and walked up to her. I fixed her hair by putting it in a pony tail. She put her arm in her sleeve herself and grabbed her scarf.  "You ready to go?"

"Yup!" 

We walked to school in the freezing cold. Lucy stayed close to me by wrapping her arm around mine, just like we did when we were little.  I noticed Lucy rubbing her hands together and blew into them. "Are you that cold?"

She nodded and giggled. "I made you lunch today."

"Oooh, what'd you make this time?" I asked with pure eagerness.

"A chipotle burrito with extra hot sauce and some fried rice with beans," she described, making my mouth water. I squeezed her as tight as I could and yelled, "You're the greatest!" We reached the school with ten minutes to spare and met up with Gray and Elfman. "Yo Natsu, Lucy! I thought you guys woulnd't make it!" Gray cried.

"We walked," Lucy said simply, "which was a terrible idea because of the weather."

"Well, at least you made it. The bell's gonna ring in a few minutes, so you better get you books before Mr. Clark kicks both of your asses." We both laughed and waved them goodbye. I took Lucy's hand and walked over to her locker. I couldn't help but stare at Lucy as she took out her calculus supplies. She still looked the same yet...different as well. With her pony tail up, she allowed a few strands of hair to be free and fall right on her creamy face. She still wore those thick rimmed glasses that made her eyes pop. She glanced at me and smiled. "What are you looking at?"

Oh, and that smile; so contagious that you couldn't help but smile. "You."

"Well stop," she said. "You should get your books too." I ruffled Lucy's hair and sighed. "Alright, alright. See you in class?"

She nodded. "Yeah." I poked her on the nose, just like what we used to do when we were kids, and walked over to my locker. As I unlocked my locker, I was suddenly confronted by Gray and Elfman, giving me weird expressions. "Gray did you just see what I saw?"

"Why yes Elfman, I did."

"Can you explain our idiot of a friend what we just saw?" Elfman asked.

"It would be my honor," Gray said. "We just witnessed our best friend and his best friend flirting like there was no tomorrow."

I stared at them, giving them a ridiculous look. "What? Me? And Lucy? Flirting? You guys are ridiculous."
