the night was cold, but you were colder.

you were so annoyed for some reason.

at first i thought it was because of me, but it wasn't.

you were just taking it out on me.

telling me to shut up or go away.

just because i said good night.

those words got you so angry and i didn't understand.

what about them could possibly throw you in such a bad mindset?

was it because you wanted to be left alone?

or was it the fact that after those two words you were going to be alone?

i'm not quite sure which one.

but if you wanted me to stay you should have just said so.
