EPILOGUE

Yasmine’s POV:

Two years passed. . .

“Adik ka ba? Wag dito please…”, pagmamakaawa ko kay Jake. Nakakainis kasi! It was my birthday today. We’re currently here at the seaside of a mall where in, dito ko rin siya sinagot almost 8 years ago.. Yeah, that was a long time ago but I still remember it.

Kasi ba naman si Jake! He surprised me. Haharanahin niya ako dito sa seaside on public talaga? Sinong di mahihiya?? PDA kami dito.

“Please Yas… it’s your birthday so forgive me. I love  you Moo..”, pagmamakaawa niya sakin habang nakatayo sa harap ko. All girls are yelling sa sobrang kilig.. or baka dahil kay Jake.. =_=

Kung nagtataka kayo kung bakit sinabi niyang “I love you Moo..”, Moo ang endearment niya sakin. How unique right? But it’s not just Moo.. May meaning yan infact.

MOO means My Only One. See? How I love it when he’s calling me Moo. Ang tawag ko naman sa kaniya, is MOSH.. and MOSH means My Only SweetHeart.. How sweet right? Funny.

Katatapos lang kasi naming magdinner. So ito pa pala at hihirit pa siya sa dinami-rami ng surprise niya sakin.. Pero deep inside, syempre I feel the sweetness in him.

“Sige na nga Mosh KO. Malakas ka sakin ehh. I love you too..”, nahihiya kong sagot while swaying my body at nakatungo. Nahihiya kasi ako ehh… Then he started singing our theme song.. Theme song that says our promises for each other.

~ Ang sarap talaga pakinggan ng boses niya.. Boses na kinakikiligan ng mga babae noong highschool kami.. Vocalist ng pinakagusto kong banda sa school namin. I love you Mosh..

~ Hindi na talaga kita pakakawalan Jake. Ikaw na ang lalaking para lang sakin. Lahat ibibigay ko para lang maging tayo panghabang buhay. Iyan ang pinakamagandang kanta na kinanta mo sakin, para sating dalawa.. hinding-hindi ako magsasawang mahalin ka.

Pagkatapos niyang kumanta, nagpalakpakan ang lahat na tila kilig na kilig. Nilapitan ko siya nang nakatungo ako at ang kanag kamay ko ay nasa mukha ko.. Naiiyak kaya ako.

“Jake.. I love you.. this was the perfect give I ever had on my birthday.. I love you My My Only SweetHeart…*sniff* Ang saya ko dahil you never failed making me satisfied everyday I will wake up and start my day. Wala na kong hihilingin Mosh… kung di makasama ka lang habang buhay. Sapat na sapat na ang lahat ng yun..”, sabi ko habang umiiyak at yakap siya.

“Shhh… My Only One, don’t cry sige ka ang dami pa namang girls ohh. Asarin ka pa nila.. Pero, masaya ko Yas, we’re almost two years together. Masaya ako kasi hindi na tayo nagkakaproblema… Mahal na mahal kita.. your my one.. ikaw lang, buo na ang pagkatao ko.. I love you..”,

Sambit ni Jake sakin at niyakap ako ng mahigpit.

After that warmth hug of his, I suddenly felt his lips take mine. This moment i‘ve waited, the dream of mine when I was young. The moment my Knight in shining armor kiss me, only me. 

Sana, sa mga dadaang araw, hindi mabawasan ang pagmamahal na nararamdaman namin sa isa’t-isa. Sana mas madagdagan para wala na akong hihiligin pang iba.

He’s eyes that I love to gaze everytime we’re in joy,

He’s lips which is kissable that I always take it as mine,

He’s hair that I want to always touch when he’s sleeping,

He’s arms I always embrace while we are walking,

He’s self that I met since we’re in highschool,

He’s black jersey jacket with the initials of J.L.A that I kept from the start and now, he was wearing it with me, that jacket where our destiny had ever started …

He is Jake Loi Aquino, My Only Sweetheart .. and I’m his girl for the rest of our lives, I’m Xairen Yasmine Lopez his Only One.
