The Girl from my Past

Flashback (#3)

"Don't wait for her, I'll bring her home after" she said and it's too late to take back what she said and saw that the two girls are smiling from ear to ear "You sure about this Miss?" Katherine asked

"Yes. I'll see to it that she's home safe" Katherine giggles same goes with Leigh-anne "Well no one mess with Perrie at the street" Katherine said

"Huh? What do you mean by that?"

"Just wait and see Ms. Thirlwall and good luck!" The two girls walk-away leaving Jade with a confused look. After a minute, she went back inside the room and closes the door, she saw Perrie looking at her and gives her chills running down her body

Why do I even offered to take her home after? Stupid Jade! - she scolded herself. She went back to her chair and sits. She opens the folrder and decides to continue to check the activity she gave her students a while ago

"Do everything you want but I want you to stay quiet as possible" Jade said and didn't bother to look at Perrie who didn't give any comment or violent reaction. Minutes gone by and Jade stills feels the uneasiness inside. Like someone is looking at her. She slowly lift her head and her brown orbs meet the dark blue ones

JADE

Those eyes, it's like I've seen her before. I felt the same way when I first glance into her eyes this morning. Is she the girl from last night?

I can't seem to stop thinking about those eyes and I even dreamed of her but then I remeber her cold voice a while ago like the voice of the girl from last night.

"What are you doing?" I asked her, her eyes never blink nor look away from me "Staring" she answered, her chin is restin on her right hand

"Did your mother not tell you that its rude to stare at someone?"

"She did but its RUDE to stare at someone you didn't know. In this case, I know you, you're my teacher"

The girl is smart, Jade. Bet you can't beat that - my own mind told me

'Oh shut up' I whispered "Excuse me?" She asked me

"Uhm, go find something else to do just stop staring at me"

"Okay" Jade brings back her attention to the pile of papers in front of her "So how old are you?" I heard Perrie asked

"Older than you"

"I know 'cause you're my teacher, duh"

"22"

"Single?" I give her a confused look but she just shrugs her shoulder "Yes"

"Straight or batting for the other team?"

"What are we doing right now Ms. Edwards? Are you forgetting that I'm your teacher?" She shook her head at me and give me a sweetest smile "I'm just following orders. Say do other things I want and don't stare. So here I am asking questions"

'Oh she's good, she's really good!' I mumble to myself. I loom at the time and we've been here for 40 minutes now. I think it won't hurt if I let her go home this early

"Okay, I'll let you go home early for now. Just wait for me because I told your friends that I'll drive you home"

"Thanks but no thanks. I can go home on my own." She packs her bag and was about to leave the room when I stopped her "I gave my word to your friends and as your teacher, you're coming with me"

"Okay fine, I'll wait for you outside" she said

PERRIE

I'm waiting for Ms.Thirlwall here in the parking lot of our school, it's only 10 to 5 and I can still see a lot of students leaving the school premises. I don't want to have a ride with her but she made a promise to my friends. I'm sitting on a concrete bench facing the entrance to our school building when I saw someone

Look away now Perrie! You don't have to torture yourself anymore - I silently told myself but my eyes betrays me. I'm watching her every move, the girl I love with all my heart but she chose someone else over me. I look down for a while to stop the tears from falling

When I look at them again, I saw Agatha kiss her cheeks like the way she used to do with me. They walk towards her car and she opens the door for her

'Come on Pez, you're just hurting yourself more if you keep on doing this' but no matter how hard I try to look away, I still love her with all my heart. A single tear escape my right eye

"Perrie?" I heard a voice called my name and I wish I didn't look up because I saw Agatha standing a few feet from me "Do you need a ride?" She asked

"Ahm no, I'm going somewhere else and I don't want to bother you and her" and look at the girl smiling inside the car

"No, it's okay. Come on." I stand up and shook my head, I place my bag on my shoulder and speaks "It's okay, ah I have to go" and starts to walk-away.

I'm walking for 5 minutes when I remembered that I left the school without informing Ms. Thirlwall but I didn't care for now, besides I'm used to walking since me and Agatha broke up. My mom and dad wants to buy me a car but I refuse, I told them to save it for my college fund and sometimes Leigh-anne or Katherine ask me to ride home with them if they do have some free time

I smile for a while but the image of Agatha kissing someone pops into my mind again. I shook my head a couple of times and walk faster than the usual. I'm in deep thinking when I heard a loud honk behind me and saw a car

"Ms. Edwards!" It's Ms. Thirlwall "I thought you're going to wait for me?" She drives slowly to match my pace but I'm in no mood to explain to her everything

"Go away!" I said and I don't have anyplans to stop walking

"Come on, I'll drive you home"

"I said go away! I don't talk to strangers!"

"Strangers? I'm your teacher for pete sakes" I look at her but I'm decided to walk instead of riding her car then I saw a no parking/waiting sign on the corner of the road. I stop and so did Ms. Thirlwall

"Still you are a stranger to me" I told her, she rolled her eyes at me and open the passanger door "I meant no harm Ms. Edwards. I just want you to be home safe" I stand there for a couple of minutes then I saw a mobile patrol

'Perfect' I mumble to myself. The driver instantly notices Ms. Thirlwall's car waiting in a no waiting zone. We heard a siren as the driver parks the car behind my teacher's vehicle

I watch as the officer walks towards the car and tap on her window

"License please" he said "What did I do sir?" I heard Ms. Thirlwall said

"This is a no waiting zone. See the sign over there" as he points out a sign 4 steps away from her car "License"

"Oh I' m not waiting for someone. Actually I'm just inviting my student to get in so I can drive her home" the officer looks at me

"Is that true?" But I shook my head and he looks back to Ms.Thirlwall who can't believe that I denied her "License please" he said again, I watch as my teacher rummages through her bag and get her license but I went to the officer's side and poke him on the shoulder

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked him immediately when he looks at me "Sure. Excuse us." And motion for me to follow him

"Can you spare her this time Lyle?" As i give him my sweetest smile "So she really is your teacher?" He asked me

"Ah, yeah. My new art teacher" Lyle shook his head at me"If you're dad finds out what you did, you'll be grounded"

"I know so plese don't tell him and don't tell Ms. Thirlwall that you know me please Lyle"

"Okay, okay. Get in the car and I'll take you home" I smiled at him again and went in the car. I saw him went back to my teacher and give her license back as he say something to her. Lyle went back to his mobile patrol and get in

"Thanks Lyle!" I told him as he starts to drive "Please spare your new teacher, I think she's nice" he answered. As we pass by her car, I saw Ms. Thirlwall looking at me and all I could do is smile and waves my hand at her

I haven't got time to edit this story update so sorry for some mispelled words and wrong grammars :)
