SOMEONE'S POV

As I walk into the busy streets of London, I saw a lot of people still wearing some jackets even though the summer has started. Yes you heard me right, you can't feel summer in London even if you're outside but not always, it really depends on the weather. Like this morning, It's hard for me to get up from my bed, I spent my weekend with my Mum, I rode a train from South Shields all the way here, it's a 3 hours trip and now I'm almost at my flat. I told my best buddy that I need to go home first before I meet them at work, Monday morning is not my favourite day in a week, my favourite day is Friday 'casue I can spend the night with my friends and sleep the next day without someone interrupting me. I arrived at my flat and took out my keys which is in my pocket and insert it in the keyhole, as I open the door I heard a voice calling me from behind

"Good morning love"Jesy said as she came nearer to me, I smiled and give her a hug

"How's everything back in South Shields? How's your mum?"she asked, I went inside my flat and didn't bother inviting her in 'cause I know she's following me from behind and I was right

"Want some tea and cookie?"I saw her still following me from behind when I took my kettle and pour some water in it

"Yes please. Oh have you check the e-mail Phoebe sent to you?"I shook my head while placing the kettle on the stove then walk towards the table and sits in front of her

"Maybe later. I haven't been in social media nor checked my mails while I'm there 'cause I want to spent some quiet time with me Mum.."I answered and smiled then open the cookie jar and took one out, I push the jar to Jesy and she copied my actions

"So you haven't answered my question about the South Shields and Norma.." I chew slowly and felt sad, to be honest, every time someone mentioned South Shields, a gush of happy and painful memory keeps on flowing inside my mind

"Same old, same old. It's still cold as always.."I answered with a small smile on my face

"And your mum?"Jesy asked me, I saw her stand up and took the kettle from my stove, I stare from my cookie for a while, I hate the thought that I'm far away from my Mum but this is my life, every night since the day I left South Shields, I cry every night to sleep thinking about my mum, especially her, I haven't realize Jesy is calling me and there's already a cup of tea sitting in front of me

"Jade, you okay?"Jesy asked me, I nod my head twice and sighs, I look at her and she's looking straight at me, well I can't lie to this girl and I can't hide that I'm not okay

"Thinking about her again huh?"she asked me again, I took a sip from my tea before answering her question but when I open my mouth, no words came out

"Come on, let's go to work. There's a lot of things we need to do today. As you can see, Phoebe already accepted 15 aspiring singers in your academy and there's another 20 already started their training.."she said and place her cup in the sink, this is why I love her like my older sister, she won't force me to say anything and find a way to lighten up the mood
