Name: Sandy Tribeca Age: 16 Gender: Female Species: Sharkmaid Where they live: Atlantis Personality: sarcastic when given the opportunity, determined, crass at times, observant, she can be comforting or completely unsympathetic, occasionally crossing the line into rudeness Description: Slightly wavy blonde hair that goes down to the middle of her back, usually braided in many strands, gills on her neck and just above her hips, green-brown eyes, freckled skin, freckles all over her face, she has a leopard (zebra) shark tail and many rows of sharp teeth. She's about nine feet long from the top of her head to the tip of her tail. She does wear a brown leather top with a hole in the back for her upper dorsal fin (she has a third fin above the big one for stability). It's leather so it doesn't mess with her swimming
Powers: Glass (including mirrors) manipulation: She can reassemble the glass of a broken mirror, break the mirror or glass with her powers, shoot the glass/mirror shards through the air, levitate the glass/mirror shards, or manipulate how the mirror reflects things by bending it
Strengths: She's a strong swimmer and generally a decent fighter. She's not a stranger to sticky situations and knows how to get herself out of them. She's loyal to her friends, but enemies beware.
Weaknesses: She can't move a large mirror or panel of glass as a whole, it must be in shards.
She can't bend the entire mirror/glass panel all at once, only portions of it at a time. If she bends too much, she never knows what the side effect could be. It could be a fever or a headache or even her fingertips turning to glass or a mirror for a while, with the effects spreading the more she uses her powers after that.
She can't bend molten glass.
Sometimes her temper gets the better of her if no one's there to hold her back.
She's not so quick to forgive.
And the biggest of them all, like most sharks, Sandy can't breathe if she can't swim, or, if she can't swim, is without a current along her gills.
