Dinner

"It's great to meet you both" mother said in a fake voice.
She was probably judging Bunni's emo kid clothes and Lucas' hair.
Lucas smiled "it's a pleasure to meet you too. Your daughter speaks very fondly of you."
How did he lie that smooth? Are angels even allowed to lie?
Bunni pulled off his beanie and smiled "she does."
I glanced between the two but they pretended not to notice.
What was this all about?
As we sat down the boys sat on either side of me and my mother.
"I'll say grace" Bunni said politely.
Mother smiled "Yes, of course. Go ahead Alex-Bunni."
Bunni folded his hands and closed his eyes "Dear lord, I do so hope you'll bless this food and the people around this table. I pray for health and for us all to stay safe."
Since my mother had her head bowed Bunni said that last line looking right at me.
"Amen" he finished.
"Amen" mom and Lucas repeated.
I frowned at him.
So this was all about Sebastian then.
"So" my mother said "how do you two know my daughter?"
"I love down the street and we sit together on the bus" Bunni said then shot me a smug smiled "She's the one who made me convert."
My mother beamed brightly "Oh, good job Snow!"
"I met her in class" Lucas said "What was the only one who didn't judge me for my hair. I got bullied cause it can't hold colour."
My mother smiled "I think it's beautiful" she lied.
Wow. They were all lying now....
Bunni smiled at me "Snow, you're being awfully quiet, are you okay?"
I frowned but nodded.
I can't yell at them while my mother's at the table.
"May I speak to you in secret?" Lucas said suddenly.
I glanced up expecting him to be looking at me or Bunni but he was looking at my mom.
She looked confused but nodded.
They walked into the livingroom leaving Bunni and I. 
"What's going on?" I growled.
"We're telling you mom" he answers "partially anyway. We're saying that we know and you don't. And telling her about the bond Sebastian did."
I wanted to him "How could you?" I roared.
He frowned "You aren't safe."
"Snow, sweetie" my mother said, coming into the room with Lucas "You're going to stay with Lucas for a while okay?"
"What?" I asked.
How did he convince her of that?
"It's safer that way" mother said, eyeing Bunni with a look of disgust "I have something to tell you. Your face her is lucifer."
"Lucifer?" I played along.
She nodded "Satan, God of death, Dark Lord; whatever you prefer. And he has sons, Bunni is your brother and so was Sebby my baby. And he tricked you and somehow drank from you without you knowing. Now Lucas who's an angel is your only form of protection."
"This is all so much" I pretended "Mom, when will I see you again?"
"Soon" she said then froze and turned to go to her room.
"Mom?" I called when he closed her door behind her.
Suddenly there was a loud gunshot.
"Mom!?" I yelled as Lucas and Bunni pulled me away from the house and away from the only home I had ever known.
