"Totally!" Quinn squealed "They're the cutest couple only second to Dan and I."
Lucas nodded slowly "Snow, why didn't you tell me."
I could hear the edge in his voice but Quinn obviously didn't.
"I-it never came up" I said awkwardly.
"So" Lucas said "What did your boyfriend want with Bunni?"
I glanced at him and frowned "What are you talking about?"
"This morning" Lucas said "Bunni ditched us to go hang with your boyfriend and he's still not back."
My heat fell.
"What?" I asked, it came out so quiet I wasn't sure he heard.
Lucas shook his head in mock sadness "Relationships should have secrets."
I felt a burning in my chest but I tried to ignore it.
"Now that I'm thinking about it, he was at your house last night right?" Lucas said, eyes fixed on my face "that's why you smell like him."
"Smell like him?" Quinn asked.
"He's my roommate" Lucas said "I know what he smells like cause we live together."
Quinn nodded "Oh cool"
While the teacher talked I could feel Lucas eyes on me the whole time.
