Chapter 8 parks and panic attacks

The Evelyn's PoV
I woke up. I had a really bad dream. I checked the time on my phone. Half six. I got changed and did my hair in a messy bun, I did my makeup I put on concealer foundation mascara and Tanya burr lipgloss and winged liquid eyeliner. I needed to clear my head. I grabbed a piece of paper and pen and wrote a note
Dear Zoë I have gone on a walk before I start school
I'll be back in a while . Love yours truly Evie
I left it on her phone, she definitely would find it there. I knew a park close to here I grabbed my phone and a bottle of water and set off. Hopefully there would be no viewers. I walked into the park it was empty, I was so glad. I sat down on a park bench and muttered to myself. After a half an hour I hear someone walking in to the park by now I was hunched up really close to tears I didn't bother looking up to,see who it was. The person who walks in sat down beside me. They put there arm around me. I flinched at their touch. I then heard James's voice
"You okay?"he asked me
"H- how d did you kn know I was here" half sobbing.
" Oh Evie don't be upset" James said to me, coming closer
"Zoe told me you had gone out so here is the first place I went to" he whispered into my ear.
"Come on let's get back we have whole day together as the tutor had to go somewhere important. So school is cancelled." He said helping me up. As we walked back I could feel myself shaking a fell to the ground and could barely speak. I was having a panick attack. Great timing anxiety.
James's PoV surprise its James's PoV sneaky right hehe
I arrived at the Zalfie household early as Oli had to got to London. As soon as I got in the door Zoe said to me schools cancelled. I didn't bother to ask why I was so happy. I asked Alfie where Evie is.
"She's gone out for a walk." Zoe chimed in.
"James can you go out and look for her?"Alfie said to me.
So I set off on a hunt for Evie. I had a good idea of where she would be. I checked the park and seen a small figure hunched up on a park bench and recognised it as Evie. I walk up to her. I sat down beside her and put my arm around her, she flinched at my touch.
I said to her "you okay"
She looked up at me her eyes full of tears
"H- how d did you kn know I was here" she sobbed
" oh Evie don't be upset" I said to her while moving closer.
"Zoe told me you had gone out so here is the first place I went to" I whispered into her ear.
"Come on let's get back we have whole day together as the tutor had to go somewhere important. So school is cancelled"
I said helping her up. We were then walking out of the park Suddenly I felt her shaking and she fell to the ground. I quickly reacted by noticing the water bottle in her pocket. I took it out and got her to take a few sips, I then picked her up bridal style as lay her on the bench we were sitting on she was light. I calmed her down. Then we started on our second attempt going back. I stopped and looked at her.We walked home and when we got back she ran into Alfie's arms clearly still upset about what she had been crying about. Alfie went into the kitchen and placed her on the counter
Alfie's PoV
I heard the door opening and then I seen Evie tear stained running into my arms I gave her a nice long hug I picked her up and placed her on the counter. I asked her what happened.
"I can't tell you" she cried, jumped off the counter ran up the stair and into her room and locked it. Me and James stood frozen in the shock of it all. I asked him what happened in the park he said
I've already explained it twice full out soooooooo
He found her on a park bench hunched up he went over to her she was crying the were starting to walk home  and she had a panic attack

Zoe came in wondering where Evie was. We told her what happened in the park
Then we told her what happened when they got home. She was nearly in tears too. She ran up to Evie's room.
Zoe's PoV
James came early because Oli had to go somewhere. We told James what Evie was doing and he went to find her. I heard the door open I knew it was Evie and James I put my earphones in as I was editing. I finished editing and went out to get a snack. Alfie and James were at the table I asked where Evie was. They told me what happened in the park and what happened at home. Before I knew it I was running up the stairs crying.
I ran to Evie's room I tried to open the door it was locked. I could hear loud sobs coming from the room
"Evie darling, please open the door"I said to her.
I can hear the door unlocking. I give myself a few seconds to calm down. I walk in th room. I can't see Evie. I hear a whimper
I turn around she's huddled in  a corner. I went over and sat down.
A/n this is probably gonna be a long chapter.
I didn't say anything. I put my arms around her she went closer into me.
We stayed like this for about five minutes.
"What happened?"I whispered to her.
Evie's PoV
When we got home from the park I ran straight into Alfie's arms. He picked me up and placed me on the counter.
"What happened?"
"I can't tell you" I cried and ran up into my room and locked the door.
I sobbed and sobbed and sobbed.
After a while I heard the door shake. It was probably someone trying to get in. I heard Zoe's voice
"Evie darling, please open the door" Zoe called to me.
I got up from the corner I was sitting and unlocked the door and sat back down. Zoe came in and looked around, she turned and she seen me. She sat down beside me and put her arm around me. I cuddled up close to her.
We were like that for five minutes.
"What happened?" She whispered.
I got up
"I can't tell you" I cried and ran out of the house. I ran across the road and cried.
I seen a figure appear coming closer. I recognised it as Zoe. She came closer, I stood frozen. I fell into her arms, crying. I could barely breath. We walk home her arm is around me. We go back inside and up to her room.
"I'm so sorry Zoe, I've been horrible." I said to her,
"Oh darling, you must have a lot on your mind" she whispered to me.
"I do, it happened last night."
