Love and Heartbreak

Journey

In a spark of day
And the light embraced.
So began the mystery
As it left it's trace.

Curiosity as it hovered
Flew into discovery.
When it was uncovered
Then it stayed a memory.

So little of a time
Did I want to know more.
So beautiful to my eyes.
How could I ignore?

It's a perfect timing meeting
And so much that is in common.
It seemed that you were imitating
Every word and phrase I'm saying.

You're every piece of heaven
Put together like an angel.
That in this world just speechless,
But in my mind all and everything.

Finally met what the night was missing
like the waves of dreams
drifting me off to no where,
But the sunrise was a new beginning.

In the middle of the ocean
And in the midst of loneliness.
Embarking on the horizon
was a message in a bottle crossing the path.

And so the bottle opened
Revealing a treasure chest
Following where it lead.
Searching without rest.

Later on the voyage
Where it was close and near my stop
Seeing the shores inviting like an entrance.
My hearts beating in a rush.

Their my foot stood on the ground
Getting closer to the checkpoint.
Nervous and so quiet I didn't make a sound,
But echoing through the distance began the joy.

Time and patience took me this far
And I don't want to go back.
Aiming for the biggest and furthest star.
I know exactly what I have.

I have woken up to see reality
I pinched myself to see if it's true.
I see the treasure right in front of me
And in that moment is when I knew.

Time passed revealing our past encounter
Yet we never met each other
however now we're much closer
Writing a book with a new chapter.

In the nights dream I look
And a voice says you'll be mine.
Observing your picture and a blank book
Showing it is almost time.

Then awakened I was so glad
because a dream has not been so real.
I have forgotten my past
because you are the treasure in my
heart so near.
