Going back to the beginning was just a memory.
I'm headed towards it like it never ended.
How love was at first sight?! Now I am forgotten.
How much I trusted you with everything.

Now in a library, I'm a history book
with missing pages and lacking passages.
With no map to see, lost, no where else to look.
I'm in the corner shelf, there by myself.

Waiting to be seen, staying to be read.
Titled oblivion and silence is my bread.
Can you pass my way and take a glance?
Maybe today is the day, it's my only chance.

Seems I don't catch your sight, I'm so grey.
No colors fill me up, call it boring.
Might as well just be thrown away.
Why an empty book with empty phrases are kept in storage?

Nonsense, pointless it's obvious throw it on the garbage.
Worthless annoyance, the cricket sings a song.
Yup, it's quiet you know it when you hear it.
Because you know it's there, but no where to be seen.

I'm forgotten in the silence so, the dust becomes my blanket.
My letters seem hieroglyphics, meaningless.
Losing significance as the age passes by.
I'm soon to fade like a torn page
flown away never to be seen again with no goodbye.
