Dezi's POV

Ugghhh!!! Why can't my stupid father figure out that I don't want to sing in public!! But, here I am about to go onstage and sing for a bunch of pop stars. Yeah you heard me right for a bunch of pop stars. Yeah my dad owns a huge record label and every year he has a party and every year I sing at it. I know it sucks right?

"Hey Dezi." D.J. said.

D.J. is the D.J. Weird I know!

"Hey D.J." I replied.

"What are you going to sing this year?"

“Haunted by Taylor Swift!" I replied eagerly. That was the only good part about this; I get to choose what I sing.

"Alright you’re on in ten!"

I climbed the stairs that led to the stage and stood in the middle of the stage. My eyes scaned the crowd as the intro played. I saw sooo many familiar faces. Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake and Flo Rida. Just to name a few. But then I saw this group of boys around my age standing together. I wondered who they were. But it would have to wait until after the song.

By the time I sang that last note everyone was clapping madly. Including those five boys. I quickly ran down the stairs and into my father’s arms.

"Great job honey!" He told me.

"Thanks Dad! Who are those five boys over there?"

"Oh! That reminds me I need to introduce you to them!"

My dad rarely answers my questions but I'm used to it or at least I should be…
