Forbidden purple- a Donatello Love Story (TMNT)

Chapter 21

Melody's POV

Quick note this is going to be split into two chapters for the sake of not wanting to make it like over 2,000 words long anyway prepare for ultimate cuteness. xxxxx

I felt myself get shaken awake and someone was shouting my name excitedly, I groggily opened my eyes to see Aprils face right in front of mine a huge grin on her face.

''Melody! Melody come one open your eyes, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon!'' she shouted whilst pulling me out of bed by my paws, I looked up at her with a WTF?! Look. She looked at me confused when she realised why I was looking at her funny her eyes widened and she grabbed my paws again this time pushing me into a chair in front of a mirror, she grabbed a soft bristled brush and started to brush my fur gently getting any knots out before pushing me into the shower.

''April what the heck it's 6:13am why are you...'' but before I could finish she shouted through the now closed door,

''Do you want to be late for your own wedding Melody! Now hurry up and shower so we can get you dressed and get your make up done!''

''My...wedding? OMG I'm getting married today!'' I shouted as I turned on the shower and jumped in, I took an hour and a half in the shower because i was freaking out so much. After I got out April helped me change into my dress and did my make up then she helped her mom and Casey's sister before changing herself. We were ready and it was about time for the wedding.

Donnie's POV

My brothers had dragged me up and threw me in the shower as they all got changed into their tuxedos, Casey was getting the rings from sensei and placing them carefully on the pillow. After I showered I changed into my Black tux and purple bow tie. My brothers, Casey and I all joked about and played video games for a while to help me relax. I couldn't believe I was getting married to the most beautiful mutant ever today, I couldn't wait to see her walk down that isle with her dress on. Okay she was the same as us not needing to wear clothes but I knew already that she would look even more beautiful than usual if that was even possible.

I thought of the image of her walking down the isle, the kiss we would soon share, the vows, our fist proper dance together. Everything I hadn't noticed that Leo was destroying me at the game but to be honest I didn't really care, I was getting married in a matter of hours I never thought I would ever be able to get married and possibly even go further in a relationship mainly because being a mutant turtle its not that easy.

After getting destroyed by my brothers they turned the game off and Leo, Raph and Casey all went out to welcome in the arriving guests as Mikey and I stayed in my room preparing to walk down the isle and wait for my beautiful angel to walk down and stand beside me at the head of the alter.

Melody's POV

It was time April had just given me a quick hug before walking down the isle with Casey and Mikey, Casey little sister walked in front of me and scattered flower petals down as Aprils mom took my paw and smiled. I smiled back and took her arm holding my flowers in my other paw as we started to slowly walk down the isle. I looked up to see Donnie turn around, when he saw me his jaw dropped. He smiled at me gently as he stepped forward and received me from Aprils mom. He led me up to the alter and whispered to me before sensei began to speak,

''You look so beautiful angel'' he whispered as April took my flowers and Donnie took my paws into his hands,

''Well you look very handsome too D-bear'' I giggled before turning to master Splinter as the entire room fell silent.

''Welcome, friends, family and loved ones we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of my son Donatello Hamato and my soon to be daughter in law Melody Saki, before we begin if there is anyone here who disagrees with the union of these two, please speak now or forever hold your peace.''

''Well then let us begin, they have both prepared their own vows and will now share them with each other and to the rest of you. My son if you would like to begin,'' master Splinter said gently looking towards Donnie, he nodded and turned towards me,

''Melody, I can remember the first time we met all that time ago I remember thinking, wow this girl is amazing strong, brave and fearless. When I first got to know you and you told me of your past how the Shredder and Karai had drove you to so much pain that you wanted to take your own life. After hearing that I felt something deep inside my heart an urge to protect you and to keep you safe no matter the consequence I remember thinking that I couldn't and wouldn't loose you to anyone or anything. That was when I knew that I had fallen head over heels in love with you. Your the apple of my eye and when you were kidnapped I remember feeling nothing but panic and anger, when you saved me and almost died I was petrified I kept thinking that you were gone and that it was all my fault. I love you so much my beautiful angel and I promise to you I will always fight and live by your side, I will stand by your decisions and I hope to one day start a beautiful family with you'' After Donnie finished I could feel my eyes fill with tears I gripped his hands tighter and began to speak,

''Donnie, I just want to begin by saying thank you. You have saved me more times than I can count not just from the foot but also from myself, I don't know what would have happened if I had died that day after you found me. You have showed me the joys of life and the pleasures of having someone love and care about you as much as you do them. I owe you my life as I offer you my heart and soul. I also vow to stand by you, your choices and decisions no matter the outcome I am with you now and forever. I will fight by your side and we will prevail against evil. I too wish to expand the Hamato family and raise a beautiful family with you I want you to be the father of my children and love them and care for them as we do each other. I love you too my D-bear and I always will'' I finished and everyone 'awed' we turned to mater Splinter once again as he smiled and began to speak one more.

''We shall now exchange rings, Casey if you will. Donatello pick up the ring and answer my question as you slip it onto her finger'' Casey stepped forward and Donnie took the ring holding it to my paw and looking me in the eyes as master Splinter began to speak once again,

''Do you Donatello Hamato, take Melody Saki to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love and to hold. Through sickness and through health till death do you part?''

''I do'' he replied smiling as he slid the ring onto my finger. I picked up the other ring and looked up into Donnie's gorgeous rustic red eyes,

''do you Melody Saki, take Donatello Hamato to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love and to hold. Through sickness and through health till death do you part?''

''I do'' I said smiling placing the ring on his finger. Master Splinter smiled and nodded his head closing the book and turning towards Donnie,

''You may now kiss the bride'' once those six words had left his mouth Donnie spun me around and caught me in a dip, he leaned in and passionately kissed me. It reminded me of our first kiss ever I kissed him back and after we pulled back we saw everyone cheering and clapping. Everyone was crying, even Raph was crying and he wasn't trying to hide it. I looked up to Donnie who showed me that adorkable gap tooth smile I had always loved and led me down the isle and toward the dining area as the fun day was just beginning.

The reception with the speeches, cake and dance will be in the next chapter hope you all enjoyed so far! This story is almost finished too! xxxxxx
