One Rainy Night....

chapter fifteen

Annabel's POV
Few days later

"Scarlett wake up please" I said sighing after ten minutes of waking Scarlett up
"What Bel? What do you want?" She said getting up finally
"I want to run come with me"
"Seriously?" She rolled her eyes "go with Lukas ah God I want to sleep"
"Scarlett we didn't go running in forever get up at once" I ordered
"Ah okay fine" she said getting out of bed "I'll be ready in no time" she mumbled
"Hhh yeah I bet" I said stepping out of the room and slamming the door shut behind me

After around five minutes later Scarlett was down stairs ready yeah but sleepy as usual

I left a small note on Lukas' bedside table saying that I was out with Scarlett and that the breakfast was ready waiting for him on the kitchen counter

We took our water bottles , cell phones and headed out

One hour of running and of course Scarlett was dying "how can you run that long?" Scarlett asked as we sat on a bench catching our breath and sure sipping water "I just want to stay in shape"
"Well I want to too but I don't go torturing myself"
"Running is not torture" I pointed out
"It is to some people" she said narrowing her eyes at me
"That's exactly why I insist you come with me to change your mind set"
"Let me tell you ... That is doing no good"
"Whatever you'll still have to come with me you need to stay in good shape anyway"
"Yeah it's unfortunately true"
"I win" I said raising my head proud
"Okay let's just go"
"Okay" I said

While we were walking home we passed by the coffee shop which was two streets before ours . Scarlett saw her new friend there one who she became friends with at the yacht party I guess her name was Charlotte

Charlotte was sitting with her friends when she saw Scarlett she invited her to join them and before I knew it she was sitting with them I wasn't really interested in joining them so I ordered my self some latte and headed back home

Once I entered the house I instinctively knew that Lukas was still asleep so I rested on the sofa and was about to turn the TV on when my cell rang

"Hey Bryan"
"Hello Ann"
"Stop calling me that"
"No I like it"
"Whatever. How are things?"
"Um actually things can't be discussed on phone where are you know?"
"I'm home come"
"Go open the door I'm here"
"Should have known" I said and the line was dead

"Come in" I said opening the door
"Don't start acting like that" he said
I smiled and hugged him tight anyway I don't have any brothers so he is to me "that's better" he said the moment we parted

"You" I said "don't seem okay"
"That's because I am not"
"I'm all ears"

Lukas's POV

"Okay I guess you already know it's Monica" I heard someone saying as I reached for the last stair then Annabel and Bryan came into view
"I told you from the very begging when all of this started that she doesn't have any sort of cruch on you" Annabel said

"Good morning" I interrupted
"Oh Lukas good morning" Bel replied cheerfully
"Good morning how are things man didn't hear from you since after the birthday party" Bryan said
"I'm quite good thank God for blessing me with Bel" I said looking at her she smiled widely at me

"Uh Bryan feel free to continue what you were saying I'll just sit here making no noise if you don't mind" I said as I noticed that he was flushed I bet he thought I don't want him to be friends with Bel but i'm not that type of guy nevertheless
"Of course not anyway you're my little sister's boyfriend you're family now"

Family?! Hhhhh that's really funny i'm family that easy my own family the only one I have left doesn't even know i'm alive or not
