One Rainy Night....

Chapter Five

Annabel's POV

It's been two weeks since Lukas moved in he's doing better thank God
But he still needs to stop drinking he's drinking less though

"Lukas wake up come on wake up" I said tabbing his shoulder
"Let me sleep I have a terrible headache"
"You drank last night?"
"Frankly I did"
"Okay you still have to get up now" I said "and we're going to run so hurry up"I said slowly
"Come on Bel show a little mercy"
"Mmm" I said "No get up"
He let out a sigh and rose to his feet
"I'll be ready in five minutes" he said
"Okay great" I said getting out of the room and shutting the door behind me

"I'm ready let's go"Lukas said from behind me freaking me out
"You scared me "
"Hhhh sorry" he laughed
"Wow Lukas it's the first time you laugh since you moved in"
"Actually it's the first time I laugh in a while a long while"

Lukas' POV

"Great you're improving"
She said giving me a smile a very beautiful one

We headed to the park and started running after a while it got the worst of us
"Bel I'm really tired let's sit" I said and she looked at me considering "please" I added
"Okay only cuz you said please"
She said laughing

"Um Lukas I want to tell you something" she said as we sat on a bench in the park
"Go ahead"
"Okay"she said slowly "I want you to come with me and Scarlett today we are going to see some friends"
"Uh I don't know about that I ...."
"You need to socialize Lukas"
"It's been years Annabel and---"
"And you need to change that" I looked at her stubborn eyes and felt defeated so I agreed "ah okay okay I'm going"
"Great" she said cheerfully and her eyes lit up and I liked seeing her cheerful and she always is
She spreads positive energy all the time and I liked the fact that it was effecting me I like my new not lonely life

I jumped to my feet when Bel's phone rang
And Bel burst out laughing
"Hhhhelllo"she said half laughing
"Yeah yeah we're coming um we'll be there after one hour max" she said and after the person on the other side replied she said "Yeah okay see you there bye"

"What's up?" I asked
"It was Scarlett .... we'll go change and then go to Starbucks where they're waiting for us"
"We better go then"

Annabel's POV

We got home and changed I wore a pastel pink blouse , skinny blue jeans , my maroon leather jacket and black timbs . I put my hair in a high ponytail

Lukas was wearing a gray shirt , blue jeans , black leather jacket and black shoes
"You ready?" I asked
"Yeah"
"Okay good let's go"

Scarlett's POV

"Hey guys"Annabel said coming towards the table we sat around
"I missed you so much and I want to introduce my new friend Lukas" she continued
"Hi everyone nice to meet you" Lukas said looking a bit nervous
"This is Colie , Emy ,Bryan and Dylan they're brothers , Sophie and finally Marcus" Annabel said pointing to everyone when she said their name

After everybody said hi they sat and we started talking about general topics

"It's the first time Bel brings a guy with her" Colie said to Sophie
"Do you think they have feelings for each other?" Sophie asked Colie nodded looking at Annabel and Lukas who sat beside each other
Emy was listening to them but said nothing

After a while Bryan and Dylan left
"Okay guys I have to go" Marcus said getting up "It was really nice to meet you Lukas by the way ... Let us see you again"
"Thanks dude you too"
"Marcus set a baseball game like last time it was really fun" Emy said
"Yeah okay I'll set it up and call ya"
"Cool"
"You'll join us Lukas!"
"I guess"
"I'm not asking you I'm telling you"
"And I didn't say no"
"Okay I'll see you then" Marcus said and left

When Marcus left Lukas was the only guy remaining and the rest of us started a girly talk I mean we're girls what can we talk about soccer matches? of course not

"Scarlett please get me out of here" Lukas whispered to me
"Hhhhhh you're stuck here with the girly talk hhhhhh"
"Scarlett get me out of here I'm done hearing about girl's products and pathetic love stories and I'm definitely done with hearing the breaking news of hot celebrities"
"Hhh yeah okay you're right we need to get you out of here"
"Oh thank you"
"Guys I'm really not feeling well I want to go home" I said
"But we didn't see the girls in a while Scarlett" Bel said
"You can stay but I want to go home"
"But you're not well enough to drive" Lukas said as soon as he got what I was trying to do
"Okay come drive me home then"
"Okay I'll go with you" he said and turned to them and said "sorry guys friends duty"
"Oh it's okay drive safe" said Sophie
"Thanks" he looked at me and said "let's go"
Lukas' POV

We set off heading to home "ah Scarlett thank you so much"
"Hhh anytime buddy"
"Now that's what friends are for"
"Yeah sure" she said giving me a thumbs up

I feel that I have a true friend Scarlett from the day I moved in Scarlett was my friend but Bel I can't feel that way towards her from the very first day at the hospital I knew she's more than a friend
