Kung sa pagbawi lang, talaga namang bumabawi si Gerald but due to his signed contracts, he has to attend to all the demands of his job. Kulang pa rin sa oras si Gerald sa pamilya niya but he is putting more effort now to reach out.
Sarah has started working on her comeback album as well. Buti na lang at she can do all the recordings and meetings at the extent of their home kaya she can still look after Ethan.
Madalas pa ring mag away ang dalawa but this time Sarah just remain quiet and let the day pass as if walang nangyari. It was less stress on her side but maybe that was wrong. It was so wrong dahil unti unti na pala silang nagiging distant sa isa't isa.
It was their wedding anniversary and Gerald's birthday that day when the chaos happened.
May trabaho si Gerald noon but still Sarah managed to prepare a lovely intimate candlelight dinner surprise for her husband. Sa parehong pag-iisip ay may hinahanda rin namang surpresa si Gerald sa asawa, he only had to attend a meeting with the bosses of star cinema and his day is off , he planned to take his wife and son to a private island in GenSan that afternoon.
Pero mukhang talagang mapaglaro ang oras at ang tadhana. He was at the parking lot ready to come home to his family when a drunk Maja came by surprise. She looked like a mess. She stopped her car in front of Gerald.
"Ge. Ge, baby. Happy Birthday." Bungad nito sabay hinalikan niya si Gerald. Pilit na inaalis ni Gerald si Maja sa harap niya but she still forcefully clings on to him.
"Maj ano ba?!" Galit na itinulak ni Gerald si Maja!
"Ge, bakit hindi mo sinasagot yung mga tawag ko. Gusto lang naman kitang makausap. Sorry na. Please, sorry na. Ako na lang ulit Ge please." Pagmamakaawa nito.
"Why are you doing this to yourself Maj? It has been years, may pamilya na ako! Tigilan mo na to!" Galit na tugon nito.
"Pero diba rebound mo lang siya? Diba? Gerald, aminin mo na sa sarili mo na napasubo ka lang kasi nabuntis mo siya! Kung hindi naman siya nabuntis diba babalikan mo naman ako? Diba Gerald? Diba? Diba baby? Kaya bumalik ka na sa akin please."
"Maja, tumigil ka na bago pa uminit ang ulo ko sayo. You go home, ayusin mo yung sarili mo! Nababaliw ka na yata talaga. Sarah is my wife now, I love her and stop making stories! She's not a rebound!"
"Okay. Okay Ge. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Sana mapatawad mo pa rin ako. You're still gonna forgive me right? Right?" Umiiyak na sinabi ni Maja.
"Yes. Yes. I have to do this and I think it's my responsibility as well, andito lang ako lagi for you Maj. You don't deserve this." Sagot ni Gerald.
"Umuwi ka na. And I hope this would be the last time you would come up to me and just kiss me like that. May pamilya na ako, stop it. I will forgive you pero sana last na to." Dagdag pa ni Gerald.
After the incident, Gerald decided to just brush it off and went home. Traffic wasn't his friend. It took him 2 hours before he finally got home.
Pagpasok pa lang ni Gerald ay ramdam na niya ang bigat ng bahay. Nakikita niya ang mga katulong na nagmamadaling naglalakad, panik panaog sa hagdanan na animo'y nagmamadali. He started to speak when he saw Nanay Rosa with all of Ethan's things at dinadala ito sa labas isinasakay sa kotse ni Sarah.
"Manang, ano pong nangyayari?"
"Naku ser, si Ma'am na lang po ang kausapin niyo nandoon po siya sa kwarto ninyo. Sandali lang ho kukunin ko lang si Ethan kay Ma'am."
