I've been living in a hurricane
Always trying to be rid of the pain
I watch you from my hiding place
You watch me from the outside
As if you can see where I hide
Never have I felt so hesitantly sure
Waiting for your loving arms
To embrace me and remind me love is pure
Even when it causes harm
You take me up on my requests
Forever try to make my heart sing
And, for you, I've done the same thing
Meet me in the middle
On the broken path where we've trodden
All through life, our faces are sodden
With the tears of our hope and dreams and hungry lust
The pain of other's long lost trust
But what's the problem
