Have you any idea what I would give up for you?
The things I would sacrifice for our love are endless
The respect I've earned
The family I was born into
Any family I might make...
I would wave goodbye to all of these
in the name of loving you
Would you do the same?
You've more to lose from this than I ever will
but I can offer so much to be gained
You could be young again
and I could grow old
Make a new start
a new way of life
Reinvent the wheel to suit our desires
Because love is the power that holds us together
And it is the power that could keep us afloat
Lest we die of old age
with regrets clouding our sight
and forgotten possibilities wrinkling our faces
and bitter broken hearts that will cease their beating in our unhappy chests
