The night before he leaves,
They hardly sleep a wink.
'Sleep,' she says,
'You have a flight to catch.'
'Hmm,' he mumbles,
Drawing her closer.
When she's sure
he has finally fallen asleep,
He sighs, 'I wish
my work isn't abroad.'
She smiles,
'I'm gonna miss you too.'The night before he leaves,
They hardly sleep a wink.
They need all the hugs
To last a year through.
