Two Paths (Sequel to Why Me)

"Mariah, they know the truth." The voice said. "He'll kill you and make sure that you're dead for good."

"Then why did he kiss me?" I thought.

"To catch you off guard."

"No, shut up. It's not true!"

"Yes it is Mariah. You're in pain child I can help you though. I can make it all go away."

"No, I won't listen to you."

"Just you wait, when Itachi dies then you'll want the pain to go away."

"No, leave me alone."

I clutched my head. The voice stopped talking so I opened my eyes and saw that it was already morning. I looked around and heard the others getting up so I packed my stuff  getting ready to go by the time they came out of their rooms. They all just glanced at me then followed Sasuke out of the hotel. I could feel Sasuke glancing at me every minute which was starting to piss me off. We followed Sasuke for hours then arrived at a giant building.

"This dump is a hideout? I'll be damned." Suigetsu said.

"This isn't one of Orochimaru's, my clan used it as a weapon store house. We'll get ourselves equipped here." Sasuke replied.

"Oh so that's where we were going this whole time," I thought.

We walked into the building and started to walk down hallways.

"All the tunnels look the same...hope we don't get lost." Suigetsu muttered.

"The air here is stifling; it's kinda hard to breathe." Karin said looking at the ceiling.

I felt a presence behind us and Sasuke smirked.

"Well excuse us!" A familiar voice said.

"Denka, Hina. How have you been?" He asked.

It's only been three years and those two are still SO cute.

"If it ain't Sasuke!" One purred.

"Oh and he brought Mariah-chan too!" The other one shouted jumping into my arms. "Whatcha here for?"

I started to stroke his fur which made him purr.

"We need to get ready for a big fight." Sasuke said walking towards them.

"These things," Karin started.

"Talking Tanukis, awesome. Here boy!" Suigetsu said holding out his arm.

The cat hissed and I laughed.

"Whoa"

"They're ninja cats Suigetsu. Don't mess with them unless you want to end up as a scratching post." I said petting the kitty in my arms.

"Then how come you get to hold one!" He shouted at me.

"Because animals love me and they already know me." I said stroking the cat's cheek.

"Didja bring us any goodies?" The cat asked.

"How about a return bottle," Sasuke said holding up a bottle of cat nip.

The one that I was holding jumped out of my arms.

"C'mon, let's see the elder." He said.

They led us into a room full of cats and the elder. While the others observed the rooms and um idk who she is I think she's the granddaughter of the elder cat fitted Juugo or something. Sasuke and I were kneeling before the elder cat. This reminded me of when we went on a mission for her. (filler ep, 189 don't feel like writing it)
