When the sun goes down,
(Every single night)
I begin my job,
And shine my silver light.I am never lonely,
Though the sky is wide,
I have a fellow star,
On each and every side.I shine down on the traveler,
Who's walked a many mile,
And when he sees my light,
I see a silver smile.And when a child wakes,
From their nasty night-mare,
They can always glance up,
And know that I am there. And I love when you make wishes,
Upon my silver flame,
You know, your wishes are each different,
None of them's the same.I can't really grant them,
For I'm waiting for the wish,
The one that sends me down to earth,
Like a silver fish. But I send all my love,
And I'll bless you all,
And when I grant my wish,
You will see me fall.*
