The Badlands

cut up her smile

melt her waxen face

she's not in a dollhouse anymore

she's in a really bad place

rip out her paid-for perfect hair

burn all her fancy clothes

welcome to the badlands baby

a place you've never ever known

competing in a fight for survival

not like she'll ever win the race

she's not in the dollhouse anymore

she's in a really bad place

friends ain't gonna come easy

she's not very popular here

welcome to the badlands baby

a place that's filled her to the brim with fear

all the bad memories are coming back

the ones she wish she could erase

she wants to go back to her dollhouse

she doesn't like this really bad place

she's leaving this terrible place now

this place where nightmares begin

she's left the badlands baby

a place she'll never think of again
