A/N: Please enjoy the story!

The next day before school...

I cautiously looked around, making sure Koga was nowhere in sight before running up to find Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha, I need to talk to you."

"About what? As far as I see there's nothing to talk about. Why don't you go run back to that other guy?" He spit the words out in disgust and continued walking, not even sparing me a glance.

He must have been really hurt... Ugg I feel so bad...

I bit my bottom lip,"Inuyasha wait! Yesterday, I didn't mean anything I said. Koga, he..."

"Koga probably said some pretty words and you got swept off your feet. That's so typical of a human."

I flinched back, slightly hurt. Some anger began to build inside of my self at his last comment, but decided to let it go and continue.

"At first, but, listen to me. He's blackmailing me Inuyasha... He told me he could hurt you. I don't know if it's true, but I don't need you getting hurt because of me if it is..."

He stopped walking and turned his head back, giving me a side glance.

"Then why are you talking to me now?"

"I just wanted you to know... Please believe me..." I looked at him with pleading eyes.

"Why should I believe you?"

I sighed. "You have no reason to. I understand, I said some pretty harsh things back there. I don't expect to gain your trust back, but please just listen to what I said right now."

He looked into my eyes, seeming to be searching for something.

He finally sighed and said, "Damn it Kagome. You shouldn't believe what he says. I doubt he could even get a scratch on me."

I sighed in relief. He believed me. I'm glad I could clear the whole thing up. I quickly looked around to make sure Koga was nowhere in sight.

"You owe me one Kagome." I nodded a little, looking to the side.

"I'm sorry for everything. I just... don't want to see you hurt."

He nodded curtly, looking around and glared at something behind me. "Speak of the devil."

I turned around and stiffened when I saw Koga walking towards us.

"Hi there Kagome. Is the blood sucker bothering you again?"

I eyed him cautiously and looked at the ground, keeping my mouth shut.

Inuyasha cracked his knuckles and quickly pulled me behind him. What is he doing?

"Leave her alone you bastard. I heard about everything and I'd like to see you try and even get a scratch on me."

Koga laughed loudly. "Is that a threat, blood boy?"

"Hell yeah it is, wolf." I saw Inuyasha smirk.

Koga's gaze hardened and he laughed again. "Let's go vampire. In the forest, me, you. Whoever wins gets Kagome as the prize."

My eyes widened. "Inuya-"

"Lets go wolf boy."

Before I could say anything, they both stomped into the forest, leaving me behind.

"Wait! Inuyasha no!" I ran after them.

"Kagome, stay back. I'm gonna teach this wolf a lesson."

"Stop fighting you two!"

I looked over at Koga and he started transforming into some kind of wolf. Within a few seconds, a big, brown wolf stood where Koga once was. Wait, he's a werewolf... That explains why Inuyasha called him wolf.

Before I could even blink, he disappeared and reappeared in front of Inuyasha, punching him and sending him flying right past me. Inuyasha groaned and tried getting back up.

"Inuyasha! Are you ok?!"

Koga laughed whizzing past and kicking him into a tree. "See Kagome? He's no match for me! Where's that vampire power? He ain't so tough."

My eyes widened as I saw Inuyasha struggle to get up, coughing a little.

A plan started forming in my head. What if I put my acting skills to use? I slowly walked over to Koga, giving him a fake smile.

"You're right Koga... maybe I should go with you... I-I'm sorry for not listening to you the first time. Just... don't hurt him."

He smirked and I heard Inuyasha curse. "Kagome! Stop!"

I circled around between the two and sighed. "Just... Just let me talk to him one last time then I'll never talk to him again..."

Koga nodded, laughing. "I'm glad you could see it my way."

I slowly leaned down, hugging Inuyasha. He gripped onto me. "Don't do it Kagome. I can take him."

I whispered to him. "Stop Inuyasha, I'm trying to help." As quickly as I could, I reached my hand up and pulled the jewel off of it's chain. The same blinding light came shooting out. When it faded, once again, there stood Inuyasha in his other form.

He stretched, yawning a little as he looked over at Koga. "Can't believe he let a thing like you get the best of us."

Koga just smirked. "Ain't this nice? Blood boy finally decided to show his true form. Too bad I get to kill you now."

Koga ran at Inuyasha with the speed of light, trying to punch him, but Inuyasha grabbed his fist and sent him flying back.

Inuyasha smirked while Koga stood up, growling.

"Who's killing who, wolf?"He spit out the last word like it was venom on his tongue.

As Koga tried to charge at him, he grabbed his tail and threw him down, stomping on his back.

I'm starting to feel sorry for Koga. I mean what he did was wrong, but still, I don't think he deserves whatever Inuyasha is giving him. He just got beaten more.

"Prepare yourself Koga."

I sprinted in forward, pushing Inuyasha off of Koga and yelled,"Stop Inuyasha! Don't do anything more!"

"Why the hell are you defending that piece of shit?"

"I know what he did was wrong, but give him a second chance, please."

"Heh, second chance? Why should I give him a second chance? The humans never gave me a second chance and which he threatened me."

I looked straight into his eyes.

"Did you forget I gave you one? When I ran away after you defeated Ryu, I came back, didn't I? I decided to stay. You know why? Because I wanted to stay friends with you!" I started crying tears of frustration.

"Why are you crying?! Don't cry woman."

"You won't listen!" I starred at him.

"Fine, I'll let him live, but don't expect this from me again." He walked over to me, taking the jewel and slipping it back on.

I smiled a little bit and looked at the unconscious Koga. It seemed Inuyasha had knocked him unconscious when he attacked. After a while of arguing with Inuyasha, I finally convinced him to carry Koga back to school. I sighed, all's well that ends well, I guess.

A/N: So how was it? I loved doing this chapter! Especially the part where Kagome wants to give Koga a second chance. It was touching so I just had to add that in it. Oh well, hope you all enjoyed. :)
