Chapter 28- Kandee

Kandees POV

During the movie Dan tried to do the whole 'Yawn and put my arm around her' thing.

I stopped him. I said "Just do it if you're going to do it."

He did.

After the movie was finished we head to Shakeaway.

"Ah!" I say as I trip on my heel. "God Damn it..." I mutter.

"You okay?" Dan asks.

"Yea, peachy keen." I say getting up. A blast of coldness just hit me. Oh that's fine it's not like I was already freezing. Its fucking winter!

"Stupid Jess..." I mutter.

"What?" Dan asks.

"Jess put me up to this. She put me in this rediculous clown costume. And its Fucking winter!" I complain.

Dan laughs.

"Here take this." Dan says. Dan hands me his jacket.

I put it around my shoulders.

"Thanks." I smile at him.

We arrive at shakeaway. I get an Oreo with white maltears in mine. I made a combo of Dan and Phil's favorite shakes because I couldn't decide.

We head back home sipping on our shakes.

We get back to my flat and I invite Dan in.

"Wanna play video games?" I suggest.

"Sounds great!" Dan says.

"Ok, you set up I'll be right back." I say going to my room.

I change out of my dress and heels and put on a sweater and some pajama bottoms. I put on a nice pair of socks and walk to the bathroom.

I take off my makeup and put my hair in a messy bun.

Now I feel much better.

I sigh. "So much better." I say.

"Everything is set. What should we play?" Dan asks.

"Super Smash Brothers?" I suggest.

Dan nods as he puts the game in.

*15 minuets later*

"ARG!" Dan exclaims.

"YES!" I say as I have won this round.

Dan then lunges himself on top of me.

"But can you win in real life?!" Dan says.

"No probablyh not..." I laugh.

"Yea me neither..." We both laugh. We calm down and we are just staring into each others eyes on the floor, with Dan on top of me.

"Hey I wanted to tell you someth-" Dan starts.

*Knock*

*Knock*

Great Timeing! Note the saracasm.

Dan gets off of me and I go to the door.

I open it.

"Brenden?" I say.

"Hey!" He says.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"I...Ummm... I told you I was in town." He says.

"Oh. Hey! Come in!" I say.

"Who's this?" He says talking about Dan.

"This is Dan. He lives next door." I say. Well...This is awkward...

"Hi." Dan says akwardly.

"Hi... Why is he here?" Brenden asks.

"We were playing video games." I say.

"Oh. Cool. Um...Yea. So I just came by to say Hi... I should probably go unpack now. I'll see you around!" Brenden says walking out. "Bye Kandee. Bye...Dan..." He says.

"Bye." Dan and I both say.

I close the door behind him. I hold up my pointer finger to Dan telling him to wait a second.

"Ok...That was so awkward!!" I say.

"Yea...It was..." Dan says.

"Sorry about that..." I say.

"It's getting late. I should probably go..." Dan says walking to the door.

"Ok. Bye then..." I say

"I had a great time tonight though." Dan says.

"Yea! Me too!"

"Bye..." Dan says.

"Bye..." I say closing the door.

WHY AM I SO AWKWARD! Weeeelllll This was an eventful night.
