NOTE: Hi guys! So, I'm gonna tell you that I've decided to update every Friday night. I've made this not-really-my-idea-but-it's-for-the-best decision because I've been really busy lately. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy updating this story and I'm itching to every day, but I really can't avoid it.

Anyway, we recieved our Card Grades today and, for the first time in the history of my life, I wasn't screwed. 'Coz almost every year (even though I'm the top of my class) there is always this shitty low grade I have and, well, my gadgets are being confiscated because of it. LOL, I'm just sharing. Stupid me and my sharing habits.

DISCLAIMER: Some of the parts in this chapter are taken from the book "The Goblet of Fire" by J.K. Rowling. Remember, I don't own Harry Potter or Percy Jackson. I only own my OCs (which is only Shadow so far). All other credits and praise go to J.K. Rowling and Rick Riordan respectively.

~Shadow's POV~

All I could say is 'wow'. Dodging and gliding, Harry was on his Firebolt, barely at par with the Hungarian Horntail, but so far, his performance was good. I could hear the judges' amazed opinions and reactions. Not only them, but the other Gryffindors were staring, their eyes following Harry's direction, mouths hung. "How could he do that?" I heard Colin Creevy ask in disbelief, taking a picture of Harry with his camera. "Blimey! Never seen Harry do that before!" Seamus Finnegan told his seatmate, Dean Thomas, who began shouting something like "Go Harry!" or "You can do it, Harry!" or "Hurry up 'coz I really need to piss, but I can't afford to miss this!". I looked at Ron, Hermione, and Ginny's side. They seem normal, but looked like they were gawking. I can relate. I've seen Harry fighting alot of times, but this was just... I don't know, impressive? I turned to my right and saw Percy, Jason, Annabeth, Piper, Hazel, Leo, and Frank staring and giving him their are-you-sure-he-isn't-a-demigod look. The arms around my waist tightened. I turned around and saw Nico looking a bit pale, but pale seemed to be normal for him.

"What's wrong?" I asked him, leaning my head on his chest.

"D-Does Harry usually fight like this? I mean, yeah it's awesome and all, but he's..." He stopped for a moment and took a deep breath. "Dying." I nodded and faced him.

"Yeah," I said. "He's unusually always like that whenever he's fighting."

In no time, Harry got hold of the egg.

"Look at that!" Bagman was yelling. "Will you look at that! Our youngest champion is quickest to get his egg! Well, this is going to shorten the odds on Mr. Potter!"

I was out of breath due to excitement and tension. H-He survived. H-He survived the first task.

Everyone, excluding the Slytherins and the Hufflepuffs, were standing up and cheering for Harry.

"And to think everyone doubted him at first," Nico said, sighing with relief.

I looked at him with confusion and happiness and gave him a big hug.

"He survived, Nico! HE SURVIVED!" I yelled with joy and relief.

I could swear Nico's temperature was heating up, but he laughed and returned me with a tighter hug.

"Yeah," he said happily.

We pulled away and he put his arm around me. Then, we walked over to the others who were carrying Harry piggy-back or on their shoulders. Harry was raising the egg up and laughing.

"Move over, move over! Mr. Potter can enjoy all he wants later, but he needs medical treatment first!" Professor McGonagall shouted, Madam Pomfrey following behind her.

Everyone moved over and Madam Pomfrey did her work. After afew minutes, she was done. Well, not quite, but that would do.

"Now just sit quietly for a minute - sit! And then you can go and get your score."

She bustled out of the tent and Hermione, Ron, and I entered.

"Harry, you were brilliant!" Hermione said squeakily. There were fingernail marks on her face where she had been clutching it in fear. "You were amazing! You really were!"

Harry seemed to not heard Hermione's praises, and of course Hermione knew that. She was just talking to avoid the awkward atmosphere in the tent. You know, Harry and Ron, together in one place.

"Harry," he said very seriously, "whoever put your name in that goblet - I - I reckon  they're trying to do you in!"

"And so he says," I muttered loud enough for the three to hear.

Hermione giggled while Harry and Ron smiled a bit, but the tension couldn't be avoided.

"Caught on, have you?" Harry asked rather coldly. "Took you long enough."

I was starting to get nervous. We don't need a fight now. Hermione stood nervously between them, looking from one to the other. Ron opened his mouth uncertainly. Ron was going to appologize.

"It's okay," he said before Ron could spit out the words hanging from his mouth. "Forget it."

"No, I shouldn't have-"

"Forget it," Harry said.

The air stuck in my lungs were released. Thank gods. I thought there would be a movie in here.

Ron grinned at Harry nervously and Harry grinned back. I believe though, that this is quite touching. I realized I was tearing up a bit. I turned around and wiped my eye. Then, I heard Hermione cry. Surprised, I turned back around and comforted Hermione.

"There's nothing to cry about!" Harry said, bewildered.

"You two are so stupid!" she shouted, stamping her foot on the ground, tears splashing down her front.

"H-Hermione, calm dow-" I started, but she hugged each of us and dashed outside, now positively howling.

I sighed, turned around, put my arms behind my head, and began walking out.

"Well," I said, "it'll be just like the good old days."

Then, I gave them a thumbs up before fully exiting the tent.
