Ethan: Miss you already x

I smiled to myself as we set off on the A1, our usual car CD on full blast and the windows all the way down so the wind whipped my hair around my face. I loved driving, if it wasn’t such a sombre occasions we would be playing car games and singing along, I sighed slightly. “Let’s play eye spy,” Dad announced turning the music down slightly. And so it begins. After an hour of arguing the proper spelling of nook I got out my camera

“Hi guys, it’s Willow and this is a Rose Family car journey,” I showed everyone in the vehicle before turning it back to me, I thought for a moment before singing “Hey mum,” mum turned to me and raised an eyebrow

“Hey what?” I was glad she was going along with singing the role call song from Bring It On: All or nothing.

“Introduce yourself,” Charlie continued

“No way,” she waved us off so we all sang back

“Introduce yourself!”

She rolled her eyes “Ok, My name is mum,”

“Yeah,” We call sang back

“I like to bake,”

“Yeah,”

“And when I shake it you’d better bring the cake,” she did a little ‘Beyonce’ dance and we laughed and I turned the camera to Dad

“Hey Dad!” Charlie and I called and he turned to us with a raised eyebrow as we cruised up the motorway

“Hey what,” he laughed depite himself

“Introduce yourself,”

“No way,” he shook his head laughing but still going along with our antics

“Introduce yourself!”

“Ok! My name is dad,”

“Yeah,”

“I like mum’s cake and when I shake it it’s like an earth quake,” as he sang the last line he shook the car, laughing to himself as he did

Charlie raised an eyebrow at me and the camera “Is that legal?” I turned the camera back to my scared expression before laughing and turning back to Charlie

“Hey Brother,” I called sweetly

“Hey what?” he gave a bored tone

“Introduce yourself?” I suggested

“No way,”

“Come on introduce yourself,”

“Ok,” He grinned and I knew he had something good up his sleeve “My name is Charlie,”

“Yeah,”

“I like to date,”

“Yeah,” I laughed

“And when I shake it the girls will faint,”

I clapped and laughed “That was pretty brilliant,”

“Why thank you,” he grinned

“But surely darling you wouldn’t want the girls to faint,” mum picked holes in his rhyme, I laughed softly

“Mum it took me weeks to make that up,” Charlie sighed “You know it takes me a while,” I turned the camera back to me and laughed softly

“A normal car ride with the Rose’s family, meaning we’re a crazy bunch. This is my family are you sure you want to be my friend?”  I closed the camera as dad began to moan about needing the toilet.
