Reese groaned as she came about, supporting her head with one of her less aching arms. "I really could've broken a bone.... wait... wasn't I just shot dead?"

Snapping her head up she looked around frantically at her surroundings. One thing was clear; she wasn't at home. Subconsciously, Reese moved her hand to feel her forehead. Nothing. As if she wasn't hit with a bullet from Burglar-san. She slumped, letting her ponytail slouch as well. "Great. Now what am I supposed to do?"

"Maybe I can help?"

Reese looked up, her eyes wide. They met warm pools of blue, unlike her killer. The girl was as tall as the brunette was, which was pretty normal for a 16-year old.... well okay she was an inch smaller. Her eyes glittered with amusement, as Reese took in her appearance. The dirty blonde continued. "You're Reese Rickerdson, am I not correct?"

Said girl narrowed her eyes. "I'm pretty sure I haven't told you my name yet, so how do you know it?"

"Because I'm an admin, my job is to know everyone by heart." She giggled. "Who knows when they would start to come around here."

Reese regarded the girl in front of her, warily. "An administrator? For what?"

"Right, you're new to this!" The girl gasped in remembrance. She continued, explaining some of the unknown facts to Reese. "Here, around you, is the Decision Garden. As it's name stands, it is where the dead come into the afterlife."

"So it's paradise?" Reese questioned.

"Almost." The admin replied, scrunching up her nose in thought. "But this is a step before Paradise. You see you can choose whether to live again or just move on to Paradise. So in short, the Decision Garden is a reincarnation land."

A silence drew up after the explanation, ending up with both girls staring at each other. Before it could go on, Reese broke it. "So you're saying that I can get sent to another world?"

A nod confirmed her answer. She continued. "And I have a choice of getting born into another world or going into heaven.....?"

Another nod. She continued further. "And by born... it means another family. Right?"

"Yup!" The smaller girl clapped her hands together in joy. "You're such a fast learner!"

"And what if I chose to go into heaven? What'll happen then?" Reese questioned. Getting born into another world didn't sit well with her. It meant that she had to relearn on how to walk, talk, go potty, and start all over again from preschool. Maybe passing on was the better option of the two.

"Mn... you live you're life out lazily. And would grow fat during your eternity there." Okay.... maybe it wasn't such a good choice after all...."

"Okay then, reincarnation it is then." The brunette sighed, defeated.

"Wonderful!" Now let's get going, we need to register you in the system!" The younger girl clapped her hands and went off in a random direction. Reese got up and went after her, not wanting to get lost.

Along the way, Reese started small talk with the girl. "I didn't get your name."

"Oh! Silly me! I'm Roselia, and as you know I'm also an admin in Reincarnation Centre!" Roselia introduced herself properly, not breaking up her pace.

While the information sunk in, Reese asked another question. "Who's your employer?"

"My boss?" Roselia repeated absentmindedly, before looking at the other girl. A small giggle escaped from her lips. "That's such a silly question! It's God of course!"

"So you get messages sent to you telepathically in your head?" Reese asked, quite intrigued with the topic.

"Sometimes." Roselia hummed. The woods started to thin out from here.

"What do you mean by that?!" Reese asked. "You see him?"

"There's that too.... we basically visit his office when we are called down or when we need a confirmation paper signed." The blunt reply almost sent Reese stumbling on the paved road that started pretty much nowhere.

Gaining composure, she shot another question. "You actually can see God?!"

"Yup!" Roselia nodded cheerily. Stopping suddenly, she turned to face the brunette, a smile on her face as she gestured the gargantuan building behind her. "Welcome to Reincarnation Centre! Hope you enjoy your stay until your flight is ready to take off!"

Reese looked up and gaped. Reincarnation Centre was about a hundred metres tall. It was like the most richest house, down on Earth, stacked onto itself ten times over. The width was huge as well, it pretty much topped a fairy tale castle in those books her dad used to read to her. It was painted as a cream ceramic color, almost peachy. The door was huger than necessary, both Roselia and Reese were one hundreth of the whole thing. Windows were huge as well, and the frames were white. The door itself was of pure mahogany wood. A rarity on Earth. Roselia grabbed Reese's wrist and dragged her inside. The hallway was a masterpiece in itself as well. Marble tiles and granite colums holding up the ceiling. A grand staircase was in front of them, a ways off. The whole first floor was polished and decorated with statues, water fountains, paintings, and plants. Roselia didn't stop there, she went to one side of the room and pushed a somewhat transparent button. A second later a queit 'ding' resounded throughout the hall, and doors opened to reveal an elevator.

"You have an elevator on the first floor?" Reese questioned, slightly dumfounded with how much she was taking in.

"Yup, it's faster this way, and it takes me right to my office! How convenient!" Roselia ushered Reese in, and tapped on the number 27. Making it light up. The doors closed and the two were once again secluded. Roselia broke the silence this time. "So?"

"So what?" Reese turned to look at her. Eyeing the younger girl's red dress.

"Do you like it so far?" Roselia pushed further.

"Reincarnation Centre?" Reese looked at Roselia. A small smile formed on her lips. "Yeah, it's a real nice place. Too bad this isn't a fairy tale. I have another question, if you don't mind."

"Ask away! Don't need to bother yourself!" The younger girl replied.

"Aren't you supposed to wear a uniform? You know a mini skirt and blouse? Not.... a red dress.... no offence." Reese raised her hands in surrender.

Roselia chuckled and replied, not fazed by the question at all. "This is a uniform, in it's own way. Something to do with how this building is built.... Theo said it was also a way of etiquette."

"Who's Theo?"

"Some collegue of mine who works a floor above me." The elevator doors opened to a more suitable area to work in. Various desks were placed in orderly fashion, with phones on each one. The only problem it had was that it was completely empty.

"Where is everyone?" Reese looked around.

Roselia hummed as she trotted to a random desk. "They must either be on lunch break or slacking off. Both could be true."

"And they don't get punished?" The older of the two asked, incredoulous.

"We really don't have any jobs on this floor. But the odd one comes in every few times." Roselia replied, looking through files. She stopped on a page. "Here it is, you will have to come with me now. I'm sending you off right away!"

Confused, Reese followed the younger girl to the far end of the room. In front one of the four pillars in the room. Before she could voice her thoughts on this, Roselia knocked twice on it. Opening to reveal that inside was a capsule. She turned to face the brunette, expression serious. "Once you step in here, you will be transported into your new world. This is your final stand as to whether you would want to reincarnate or not."

A silence stretched out, Reese now noticing that she was to give Roselia her final answer. "Well if I'm going to get fat in heaven, I just might as well move on to another life."

A smile spread across the younger girl's face. She nodded and gestured to  the capsule. "Watch your step and enjoy your ride~"

Reese stepped in and the door closed behind her. Her heart fluttered nervously. A few seconds later a low rumbling sound started vibrating the capsule, and in an instant light washed over the brunette, making everything go dark.
