MinHo has been noticing a few things about TaeMin and he doesn’t know why. But everything he sees bout the SHINee’s maknae makes him feel scared. Too scared to blink, because he’s afraid to miss something new about TaeMin. Too scared to talk, because when he’s with TaeMin he becomes a muttering mess. Too nervous to even sleep, because he share a bed with TaeMin and whenever he get’s to close, MinHo’s breathing would accelerate.
But MinHo will ask him to stop whatever TaeMin is doing. Because MinHo can’t live like this.
But what exactly will MinHo say?
‘Hey TaeMin, stop being you and let me live in peace’?
He doesn’t know, but he will try anyways.
TaeMin is watching TV in the living room and MinHo thinks this is the perfect time.
He stood in the kitchen, thinking if he should approach him or not. Because like I said before, when he’s with TaeMin he becomes a muttering mess.
After several minutes and do-it-already’s from his own brain, MinHo grew a pair and walked towards TaeMin. He stopped next to the maknae and took a deep breath.
This is it.
“Tae-“ He started to say, but the maknae turned his head to look directly at MinHo. His eyes looking up at him since MinHo is very tall and TaeMin is sitting on the couch.
And MinHo founds himself lost in those puppy eyes TaeMin is makinf right now. Because who on earth can resist puppy eyes and—oh my god that pout he’s doing right now. MinHo could steal a kiss right now if he wants to but—hell no. MinHo can’t even breathe. How on this universe is he getting out of this? MinHo wants to run because—God, TaeMin is beautiful.
“…Yes?”
“A-Ah Uh. N-nothing T-Taem—I need to go.”
MinHo is surprised or even proud of himself because he could at least mutter something out. He doesn’t care if it was a mess of words or he looked extremely stupid, he just needed to go away from TaeMin. He needs to be alone to figure out this thing—what is this thing he’s feeling?!
TaeMin in the other hand is confused as fuck. What the hell was that? He just saw MinHo standing next to him with a puzzled face, probably thinking too much, eyes about to pop out and he just ran away. It worried him because MinHo is not the type of guy who just get puzzled, think too hard and run away like he’s being chased.
So TaeMin goes to their room to see what’s wrong with the frog face.
He saw MinHo on the floor next to their bed, hugging his knees like life depended on it. He walked close to him and sat next to him in the exact same position. After and awkward silence and them ignoring each other, TaeMin broke the silence.
“Are you okay?”
“…No.”
MinHo didn’t even dare to look at TaeMin. He knows if he does, something bad would happen.
“…What’s wro--.”
“I don’t know. It’s just- I-I” MinHo groaned in frustration. TaeMin is frustrating.
“You confuse me.” MinHo said after staying quiet for awhile.
“M-me?”
“Yes, you. You’re doing weird things to me.”
TaeMin stayed in silence. He didn’t know what to say anyways.
“You being you make me smile. Lately I’ve been smiling for no reason and right now I figured out that you are the damn reason. And when you are too close to me—oh god, please go away before I start muttering weird stuff.” MinHo dragged himself further away from TaeMin, hoping he wouldn’t transform in mutter-master right now.
“And your presence makes my heartbeat go faster, a lot faster. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I think I’m sick and I’m going to die. I must go to a hospital.”
“Oh…”
Then MinHo shuts up because he knows he screwed up everything. He knows TaeMin hates him now, and MinHo prefers dying on top of being hated by the one he loves. Yes, love. What else can this be?
“… I’m glad.” TaeMin said after a long, horrible silence.
“What?”
“I’m glad you feel like that.”
“Why?”
“Because you do the same thing to me.”
