I'm less than a half hour's drive from Grace's house, so I decide to take off my cannula. I'm not ready to let her know yet.

I decide to stop and buy her a little gift, pretty flowers and some chocolates. I can't believe we'll be getting married in just a week!

Soon enough, I pull up to her house and knock on the door, eager to give her a big, warm hug.

Grace slowly opens the door to reveal her beautiful green eyes.

"Misha!!" she yells enthusiastically and jumps into my arms.

When I set her down, I hand her the roses and milk chocolate.

"Aw, Mish. Thanks so much!" Grace tells me gratefully, her voice shaky for some reason.

"Anything for you, love." I reply and kiss her on the cheek.

The two of us walk inside and go in her kitchen. I see she ordered a pizza...and Jared is there.

He looks flushed and nervous.

"Hey Jar! What brings you here pal?" I ask in my best Russian accent to try and lighten the somewhat tense mood.
Nobody laughs besides me.

"Oh-uh..um nothin" he stutters, clearly hiding something. I shoot Grace a questioning look.

I start to feel jealous. I mean, is she cheating on me with him or something? I walk out of the room to try and clear my mind, I'm probably just tired and making up things.

As I walk out of the kitchen I run into Grace's mother.

"Oh Misha. Come over here, I need to tell you something. I'm so sorry but it would be wrong not to tell you." she tells me.

"Tell me what?" I ask anxiously.

"I know Grace is my daughter and I shouldn't let anyone know..but I saw her kiss Jared." she whispers.

"WHAT?!" I scream.

"Misha, I'm sorry!! It's my fault..don't be mad." Jared desperately apologizes.

My emotions overwhelm my senses and my constant crying makes it difficult to breathe.

'Oh, no. This is an emergency, I need the oxygen tank.'  I think.

I run out of the house and attach the cannula as quickly as I can. Grace and Jared run out of the house trying to stop me from driving away..but I hit on the gas pedal and speed to Jensen's vacation house near here.

Tears sting my eyes as I drive away from my girlfriend. The girlfriend that I'm going to marry in a week.

The girlfriend that betrayed me...
