I sit in bed reading The Hobbit for the second time. At least something to keep my mind off of what happened. I feel extremely bad about what the happened. Misha told me he wanted me to be his girlfriend, and I kinda freaked out..and ran away. I can't get his face out of my head, looking hurt and upset. I feel tears slowly falling down my cheek, flustered with myself. I set the book on my bed and decide to call him back. Before I grab my phone, I wipe the tears away. I look through my contacts until I find his name. Then, taking a deep breath, I press call.
The phone rings and rings before eventually going to voicemail. "Uh, Misha? I am so sorry I ran off like that. I just didn't know what to do, and I feel terrible about it. Wanna come back over my house? We can talk about." I say in a quiet voice, then hanging up. I walk over to my bed and lay down, pulling my blanket over my head. I slowly doze off, taking a short nap.
Before I know it, my mother is in my room gently shaking my arm to wake me up. "Gracie, Misha's here." she says, grinning. "Oh gosh." I reply, jumping out of my bed. I run to my mirror and fix my hair. I change as fast as I can from my sweatpants and oversized shirt to jean shorts and a Harry Potter sweater. "How about I just bring him up here?" she says, walking out of my room. I nod, slightly surprised that she would let me alone with a male in my room. I sit on the corner of my bed, waiting for Misha to come up. I hear footsteps walking up the stairs, and he walks around the corner into my room. "Hey." he says, standing by the door awkwardly. I manage a half smile, but walk up to him and wrap my arms around his waist, giving him a tight embrace. "Hey." I reply, my face pressed into his shoulder. He smells nice, like cologne. He hugs me back, and I step back a little to kiss him on the cheek. I grab his hand and pull him over to my bed. Misha takes a seat right next to me, still holding my hand. He moves his thumb in circles on my palm. "I'm sorry." I state, getting that out of the way. "Don't apologize. It's fine." he replies smiling. "But seriously, I would love to be your girlfriend." I say. "And I would love to be your boyfriend." he replies. "I'm kinda new to this boy-girl thing." I say, giggling. "You're so cute." Misha states, with an adorable smile on his face.
For the next hour or so, we play Call Of Duty Black Ops, leaning against my bed frame and eating a ton of food. Misha pauses the game and checks the time. "Sorry Grace, I have a comic con tomorrow." he says, sounding upset. "Oh, it's alright." I reply, getting off of my bed. We walk down the stairs and towards the door hand in hand. I notice my mom sitting at the kitchen table, eating a sandwich while on her laptop. She looks up at us, and I let go of Misha's hand. "Hey guys!" she says giving me an odd look. She must have noticed us holding hands. "Um, Misha's gotta go. Has a comic con tomorrow." I reply. "Oh ok! Bye Misha!" she says, smiling. He wraps his arms around my waist, and I put my arms around his neck. "Bye sweetheart." he says. "Since when do you call me sweetheart?" I ask, giggling. "Since now." he replies, giving me a kiss on my forehead. And with that, he walks out the door. I turn around to see my mom staring at me. "What?" I ask, getting embarrassed. "What's up with you two?" she asks, raising an eyebrow. I just stand there awkwardly and say, "Uh, nothing."  "You guys are a thing, huh?" she asks. I just look down at my feet. "He asked me out." I state, wanting to get out of this situation. "Grace. He's too old." she says, giving me a stern look. "Mom, come on!" I yell, getting angry. "We'll talk later." she replies, walking away. I run up to my room, tears about to fall. I can't imagine what it would be like of my parents didn't let me be with Misha. I love him.
