Chapter 14: Home

Lexi's P.O.V.

I woke up to be greeted by a sleeping blonde boy, remembering last night's events I smiled thinking about when he confessed that he loved me. I slowly got out of bed not wanting to wake Niall because he hadn't had much sleep in the past week. I walked to my closet and picked out a 5 seconds of Summer tank top and some high-waisted shorts to go with it. I also grabbed some undergarments. I walked into my bathroom, closing the now fixed door thanks to Niall. I locked it and turned the shower on, putting my hands under the water to feel the temperature, to set it to my liking. Once I got into the shower, I started scrubbing my body clean and washing my long blonde hair. After I was done with my shower I hopped out and started to get dressed. I decided to put my hair into a messy bun since I didn't feel like doing my hair. I applied some foundation, bronzer, eyeliner and mascara before walking out of the bathroom to find my room empty. I walked downstairs and heard the shower running so I started making breakfast while waiting for Niall to get ready. After I finished cooking some eggs, bacon, and sausage, I put the food on the table. Before I ate, I decided to clean up the mess I made by cooking. Niall walked in the kitchen right while I was putting the last pan away. "Good morning babe" I said with a small grin as I saw his eyes light up when he saw the food. 

"Good morning Beautiful." He said before walking over to me to kiss me on the cheek. "Thanks for the breakfast sweetie. You really didn't have to cook for me." he said sweetly as I pressed my lips softly to his.

"I don't mind one bit." I replied while sitting down. 

We ate in a comfortable silence. Niall let out a few 'yums' here and there and I would giggle in response. I truly was content with my life. I just really wish I could see my family, I missed them already and it hadn't been that long. Its almost as if Niall had read my mind because he asked me a question I didn't know how to answer. "Do you want to go to Texas for a little trip with me and we can visit your family?" 

"Uhh-I- i mean- I don't have th-e mo-ney" I said completely astonished with his question and thoughtfulness.

"Don't worry about that Love." I couldn't let him pay for me. Its too expensive.

"I can't let you do that babe." I said looking down at my feet avoiding his eyes.

"It is my decision and I want to meet your family." he said very nonchalantly.

I couldn't help but let the joyful tears start brimming out of the corners of my eyes. I've never had anyone ever care for me as much as Niall did and I needed someone like that in my life. He was amazing. He gave me a hug and kiss of reassurance. "But there isn't a flight until next week." he said quietly.

"That is fine it will give me time to notify my family and friends. I will also have time to pack. Are you sure you want to do this?" I really wanted to see my family but he didn't have to waste his time or money flying us out to Texas.

"I have no doubt in my mind." he said giving me a kiss on the forehead before cleaning the table up. As soon as we finished talking about little details and stuff, I ran upstairs to call my mom. After two dreadful rings she finally picked up. 

"Hello?" her voice sounded happy and calm.

"Hey mom, its Lex." 

"Lex, how are you honey?!" 

"I'm good, I've got some exciting news..My boyfriend and I are flying down to texas next week to visit you. He really wants to meet you." I said kind of hesitantly being this is the first time I've mentioned my new boyfriend.

"Boyfriend, huh? That is fantastic news! I can't wait to meet him, is he handsome?"

I started laughing at this question, "He is beyond handsome, He is breath takingly attractive." I said while a smile spread across my lips.

"Sounds great! I'll tell Jakob, Zach, and Em that you're coming!" 

"Okay I love you mom, see you soon." 

"Love you too Alexandra Michelle!" with that the line went silent and I was left with a big smile on my face.

* A week later...

Niall's P.O.V.

I nervously walked hand in hand with Lexi, to the boarding entrance of the plane. This week went by fast, we packed, hung out with the boys who had become really close with Lexi this past week, and talked a lot about Texas. I love America, and American girls obviously. As we got to the entrance we handed the attendant by the door, our boarding passes. This was it. We were about to get on a plane and fly to Dallas, Texas. My palms were starting to sweat so I pulled my hand away from Lex's before she could feel me sweating. Too late. Damn. "I think it's cute that you sweat when your nervous." she giggled adorably. She had this sweet smile on her face as we walked through the plane trying to find our seats. We got first class seats which I always loved. Her eyes widened at the sight of first class. She had a huge little girl smile placed across her face. She was really quite something.

"How'd you know I was nervous?" I said feeling heat slowly creep onto my now pink cheeks.

"I can tell. Don't worry my mom said she can't wait to meet you." she said giving me a reassuring smile. Boy, I had never met a girlfriend's parent. I sat down after I put our carry ons above our heads securely. This was going to be a long flight. I turned to Lexi and placed a kiss onto her soft plump lips. I then grabbed a hold of her hand and we started talking about the tour and what is next for One Direction. I waas scared to think that sometime in the future, I would have to leave her and I can't just leave the love of my life behind. I shook the thoughts out of my mind.

 'Please fasten your seatbelts for take off'

I made sure Lex's seatbelt was securely on and I let her make sure mine was too, as I chuckled as she tickled my side while checking my seatbelt.

To be honest, I never really liked take off's and I'm guessing neither did Lexi because as soon as we started moving her eyes squeezed shut and her hand gripped my tightly. I put my arm around her waist and held her close to me. "It's going to be alright, Love. I'll keep you safe." I whispered in her ear kissing her on her neck and watched as the goosebumps started to form at my touch. I was glad that I was the one that made her feel that way. She laid her head on my chest as we started our flight. I was so happy that she was in my arms. I've never been so in love with a person. I've never fallen for anyone actually. She is definetly the one. I decided to check my twitter and when I opened up the mentions I let out a small laugh as I saw our fans retweeting a picture of Lexi and I at the airport this morning. The top trend was #WeshipNexi. Lately, we had been seen out in public and my twitter icon was of her and I kissing so I guess the fans know it's offiicial. I decided to put my phone away and study the beautiful features on the girl now sleeping on my chest. Her eyebrows were slightly furrowed and her lips were parted. I decided to take a picture of her cute face so I could show her when she wakes up. She is going to kill me, I let out a little laugh.

My eyes started drooping and soon enough the darkness enjoyed my company. 

I woke up hours later to someone nudging me. When I opened my eyes, I was met by a pair of crystal blue eyes squinting as she giggled. "It's time to get off the plane babe." My stomached swarmed with butterflies as I heard her use that name towards me. 

I got up stretching and getting out our carry-ons before taking her small hand and walking off the plane into the airport. 

*Half an hour later

We got out of the cab and I peered up at the beautiful house in front of me. It was modern and huge. Lex tugged on my hand for me to move forward so as we walked up the path I prepared myself for walking through that door. As Lexi grabbed the handle, I gulped. 

"WELCOME HOME LEXI!" the house was filled with people who I am assuming were family and friends. I put my arm around her waist and when she saw all of the people she started tearing up.

That's when I saw her as she ran up to me holding her arms out to embrace me.
