Chapter 14

Brittany (POV)

it was sunday and this was my last day in Miami. me and aaliyah decided to go to the mall. we've been here for almost 3 hours, so we went to go sit down in the cafe section, and eat.

"so hows you and chris?" aaliyah asked while eating her fries

"before i came he got mad over some petty shit, but now were ok i guess."

"yeah i heard his name on the radio. he's definitely getting popular. and his new single is hot girl"

"it took about 2 weeks to perfect it. but im so proud of chris. he called me and told me he had big news for me when i get home. its probably about his show that i missed" i said

"well whatever it is, i hope he gets signed or something. he gone be all famous and all the girls gone be on him. how is that gone go for you?" she questioned. everyone asks me that question and i honestly dont know what will happen when all the fake people and groupies become apart of his life.

"well school will be over soon, so im not to stressed. me and him signed up for a program called 'Finish Line' its for graduates who want to graduate early. so me and him should be out of school in about 3 weeks. im doing all of this for him." i said truthfully

"damn, you must really love him"

"i do. i believe that he will make it, so whatever happens, happens....hows miami been without me?" i asked

"shit, nothing really. everybody changed once you left"

"mike did" i mumbled

"yeah he did. you saw him with his girl last night didnt you?"

"yea..it was awkward. but im happy for him. i will always love mike but that chapter is over, im over him." i shrugged

"well good for you. im proud of you, growing up and stuff. got you a man with a good career, you helping him and your really a true definition of a Ride or Die chick" she joked

for the rest of the day, we shopped more and then got our nails did. i had a great time in miami, but it was time to go back to Compton.

Chris (POV)

it was sunday, and brittany was coming back later on today. i was happy because i couldnt wait to tell her the good news. i told my mom and she was elated, i wanted to tell diamond and brittany today. i know your probably asking why diamond has to know, but diamond is a really good friend of mine, and shes really sweet. so i wanted to tell her also.

i texted diamond to meet me at my house to tell her, and brittany was probably gonna be here soon.

"so what do you have to tell me?" she asked

"come in" i said leading her into the living room. she sat down and i sat on the sofa next to her. "i got signed to Jive records. they want me to come meet with them in New York on Tuesday!" i explained

"oh.oo.oh my god thats great! i mean chris im so proud of you. like seriously, i remember you was a lil skinny nerd, and now look at you" she joked "your all on the radio and you got a fan base now. i really am happy for you" she smiled.

as soon as i was about to thank her, the doorbell rang, indicating brittany was here.

"baby" i said as i hugged her. she kissed me softly and then walked into the house. as soon as she saw diamond, for some reason her smile became an angry look

"um diamond this brittany, brittany this is diam-"

"oh i know exactly who she is" brittany said sternly

"you guys met?" i asked confused

"yeah, at the nail shop. i wont say it was a good impression, but i know her" brittany said folding her arms. i felt tension so i quickly sat brittany on my lap

"so brittany, i just want to thank you for everything you have done. you got me started and i love you more than i love my own damn self. without you i wouldnt be here..and i mean that. yesterday at the show, i got signed to Jive records. they want a contract with me, and im suppose to be meeting up with them on tuesday"

her eyes got wide as she kissed me "oh baby im so proud of you! you really are going to be famous soon. and i wanna be there with you every step of the way." brittany smiled.

diamond sighed and rolled her eyes

"is there a problem?" brittany asked.

"no not at all. congratulations, call me when you can. i gotta go" she said as she grabbed her purse

"yeah get the stepping" brittany said firmly

"yo calm down bae" i said

"i dont like that bitch, why is she here anyway chris?"

"dont spoil the moment brittany, damn. i dont wanna argue"

"well why is this hoe in your house?" she questioned

"brittany would you calm yo hyped ass down? shit, i just got signed to one of the biggest recording companies and all you can do is think about something totally different." i semi shouted

"i asked a question chris, why is she here?"

diamond began to get closer to brittany, and brittany got off my lap

"dont you ever call me a bitch, bitch!" diamond yelled. i quickly grabbed brittany before she could react

"both of yall stop! diamond i think its time for you to leave. and brittany sit yo ass down." diamond rolled her eyes and left.

"now what was that about?" i asked brittany

"i do not like her ass. but im happy for you and i love you and thats all that matters" she smiled

"you know i hate that fighting shit. i love you more." i kissed her softly on her neck and she let out a soft moan. she took my shirt off, and i did the same to hers. soon we were both naked and i entered her. she moaned loudly as i thrusted in and out of her.

"chrissss" she moaned. i smiled as her love faces were beautiful and soft. she was so sexy.

she was my woman for the rest of my life and I wasn't gonna let no girl, money, or fame get in between us.
