I cleared my throat and pulled the boy a step back. I stepped in front of him to face Junwoo. I expected the boy to run away as soon as I stepped in front of him, but he didn't.

"Yah Junwoo. What's wrong with you? Don't you get what your so called friends are trying to do? Why do you think none of them showed up? They are just playing with you. And you let them play with you. Like a fool."

Junwoo sighed, "I'm warning you because you're a girl. You better leave before I get pissed."

"Why are you so egoistic? Why don't you think about your mother or your brother?"

"Shut that mouth" he gritted his teeth.

"Do you think you're the only one who's hurting after your father's death?"

"I told you to shut up!" he pushed me hardly on the ground.

The boy crouched down immediately, "Are you okay?"

I nodded and stood up.

He stood up as well and was about to say something but was interrupted by Junho, who suddenly appeared.

"Jihye noona, are you okay?" he asked me concerned.

Before I could answer, he turned to his brother and nudged him, who was almost twice his size, "Get yourself together, hyung! We are all suffering!"

"You little wanker! It was you, who called that annoying girl, right?" Junwoo slapped his little brother before any of us could react. The poor guy landed on the hard ground.

That was the point I was unable to control myself any longer.

I mustered my strength and punched Junwoo.

He was unable to believe what I had done. He got even angrier when he realized his nose was bleeding.

I was prepared to dodge a punch of his but was suddenly pulled back by the boy behind me. He stepped in front of me and landed a more than just hard kick in between Junwoo's legs. He sunk to the floor, holding his lower body half.

"Junho, are you okay?" I turned to Junho, who's upper lip was bleeding.

"Physically I am. How about you?" he looked down to my sore knee, "I'm sorry for having caused so much trouble for you." Although that boy was only 15, he was so much more mature than his brother.

"Stop apologizing." I ruffled his hair, "But what do we do about your brother?" I looked down to Joonwoo, who was still lying on the floor, groaning with pain.

"I don't know either" he sighed, "I'm concerned about my mother."

"Don't."

I looked up to see Junwoo's and Junho's mother standing there with a police officer. She had planned reporting her son for a long time. Junho followed his mother, Junwoo and the officer to the police station after thanking me once again.

After they left, I noticed the presence of the boy who helped me earlier again. I totally forgot about him.

I turned to him and was about to thank him but he spoke before I could, "I'm surprised."

"Pardon?"

"It was the first time I saw a girl punching such a big guy."

"Really? That's nothing to be surprised about, though. Women emancipated themselves a long time ago, you know. We can fight, too. It's been a while since Stone Age passed."

"I don't doubt that at all. It's just a little unusual to see a girl not being afraid of getting hurt" he cleared his throat, "You should take that as a compliment."

"I'm not sure about that, but thanks" I slightly smiled, "Anyways, it's late. I better go home now. You should do that, too."

"Yeah, I guess I should."

I put my hands into the pockets of my jacket, "Uhm, good night."

"You too" he cracked me a slight smile, "strange lady" he added afterwards.

I was waiting for Joohyuk in front of the school gate. Since I didn't get a lot of sleep, I yawned continually.

"You look like a zombie" he finally came.

"Thanks" I yawned.

"So, where's my essay?" he asked, entering the school building with me.

"Oh, I almost forgot" I took out a few pages from my backpack, "I didn't get to sleep a lot but I'm proud of the outputs" I smiled. "That's what I call a perfect essay about the second world war" I handed him the papers.

He stopped walking and scratched the back of his head, "Uhm, Jihye?"

"Hm?" I stopped as I turned to him, "What is it?"

"The essay was supposed to be about the first world war."

"This is a bad joke, right?" my expression became blank.

"I wish."

I started giggling, "It's okay, it's okay."

"Are you okay?" Joohyuk asked.

"No" I laughed, "Actually I'm about to go crazy."

"Stop that. You're scaring me."

I stopped laughing, "The bell is about to ring. I'm leaving."

"Okay. And don't worry too much. One month without training isn't that bad."

"Yah. You as my closest friend should know what I think about that" I hit his arm lightly, "What if that person returns? I'm still lacking."

"We talked about this matter too many times."

"I know" I sighed, "Anyways, I'm leaving. Class is about to start."

"Fighting, Jihye!" he nudged my arm.

"You too" I nudged his arm back.

The classroom was rather noisy when I entered. Strangely all the girls were crowded in front of my seat, chuckling and giggling.

A boy was sitting on my seat.

I approached him from the back and tapped on his shoulder, "Excuse me, that's my seat."

He turned his head and looked at me. He seemed to be as surprised as I was.
