Newbies: Intensive work on my Fear Journal over the last few days confirms that, no matter WHAT I do, I will be wrong. I'm now published; doesn't help.
That's actually quite freeing. Paralysis by fear must be inflated to absurd size (until it explodes), and the pieces buried.
BUT Fear is a zombie. It always comes back. So you have to actively keep killing it.
Book 2 is a doozy, even harder to write than Book 1. Tough. Writing is what I do. Then we tackle Book 3.
After twenty years, I realize Fear won't go away. I'm getting very good at killing it.
