One complexity at a time, think in pictures - or words?

People working on their covers lose their words.

It's been a month since I started seriously concentrating on making an image with pixels instead of letters, and in the meantime, instead of blogging more to compensate for writing fewer words of fiction, I find myself mute.

I have high standards and little graphic talent, but enough so ideas occur now in pictures.

When I rest, I don't get plot points. I get light points and blending modes and a determination to compose a realistic picture of a feeling, the light just so.

It is an odd change for a wordsmith.
