"Nag-uusap na tayo."

Napairap ako sa kanya. "No. We need to discuss more about..." I stopped. "Magdamit ka nga muna!"

Nakakahiya! Nakasuot lang sya ng boxers at baka hindi pa nga sya nakakapaghilamos.

"Game."

Game? Napaharap na ako sa kanya. Nakasuot na sya ng damit at mukhang nakapaghilamos na rin. Ang bilis ah!

"This is not a game Mr. Edward."

"I know Mrs. Edward." He smirked.

"What did you said?" Napanganga ako sa sinabi nya. Ako? Mrs? No way!

"Bakit hindi ba? Look?" itinaas nya yung folder.

"Nabasa ko na yan pero baka nakakalimutan mo. That marriage contract is not valid here in the Philippines."

"Baka nakakalimutan mo rin.." Nagseryoso na sya. ".. What is your citizenship?" He asked.

Bakit naman.. Oh! "French." Doon ako pinanganak, doon din ako lumaki at nag-aral. Both my parents are Filipino but I don't grew up here. I am French!

"I have a green card. Meaning, hindi tayo Filipino.. And the marriege may be valid.

Natulala ako. He's right.

"But I live in Seattle not in Las Vegas."

Kumunot ang noo ko. Ano naman ngayon?

"According to my Lawyer we need to become a residence in Las Vegas for 6 weeks before we can file a divorce paper."

"6 weeks?"

"Dahil American citizen ako sa tingin ko mas mapapadali lang ang proseso but it will take a weeks to finish everything."

"Ikaw na lang tumira doon."

"Are you deaf? Sabi ko 'we need to'. Tayong dalawa! Not just me. And beside I'm busy. I can't stay that long in America."

"I'm not deaf! And I'm busy too!"

"Pano na yan?"

Pano na nga ba?

"Let's keep this as a secret. I'll find a good schedule to go to US. Find yours too. After ng 2 months we'll file a divorce then everything will end."

"Yeah." he wisphered.

"I think I need to go." Nagpunta ako sa pinto para umalis na.

"Wait."

"What?"

Para namang nalito sya. Napakamot ulo tapos. "Wala."

"Wala naman pala eh."

"No. Meron pala."

Natigil na naman ako sa pagpihit ng doorknob.

"Ano?"

"About last last night."

Ohh.. That sex? "Just forget about that. You don't have to worry."

"...but.."

Naaasar na ako. Tiningnan ko na sya ng may naiinis na tingin. Sabing kalimutan na diba?

"Ano?"

"You might get pregnant."

And to my horror... Him not using any protection? I think he's right.
