Axel was walking in the snow. His head was tilted up and his mouth was open to catch some snowflakes. Not looking ahead, Axel trips on the ground. He turned red in embarrassment and was hoping that nobody saw his fall.
He got up making some of the snowy leaves rustle. He didn't expect an arrow to hit him in his stomach. Nor did he expect a gorgeous angel looking woman looking at him in surprise.
Falling on the snow, Axel groans at the pain. He could easily heal this but he had to turn into his demon form to do that. He shook the thought away, he didn't want anyone else thinking he was a monster.
"I am so sorry!" The beautiful girl's voice was as beautiful as her face. She hovered around his face. Axel looked at her like she was an angel sent from above.
"I'll bring you to my home. I can take care of you there and hopefully you'll heal." And he did. In many ways because of her.
Take this as an apology for the wait you will endure for the next chapter! I am still sorry but blame it on school for being a piece of shit.
