Chapter Fourty: Part One: DSMB

                “Harder…” He gasped. I spread my knees wider until there was nothing but fabric on fabric contact. As I rocked my hips his hands plunged into my pants and gripped my boxer clad butt cheeks. He pushed me closer to him making more friction and heat. By now all I wanted to do was to get him naked. I wanted to taste his skin. I wanted to feel it touching mine. I wanted—

“GET YOUR HANDS OUT OF MY PANTS!!” Declan yelled from the front of the bus. Both McClane and I froze. We stared into one another’s eyes as we listened to the conversation. My heart was racing in my chest at the thought of someone almost catching us.

“Later… we finish this.” McClane whispered. I didn’t even have to give it any thought. Nodding my head I slowly climbed down from his lap and took my seat again. Before I could turn away he grabbed hold of my chin and kissed me hard one last time just as the bus was pulling up into the resort. Even though I didn’t know what the hell I was doing I knew one thing to be true. I was meeting McClane later… no matter what.

Day One: Night Time Conversations

McClane’s POV:

We decided to spend a few hours learning the resort. By the time dinner came around we were ready to explore… some more than others.

                “We’ll see you guys when you get back.” Said Julia as she and Ferris headed back to the rooms. We all watched from the taxi stand as they scurried around the corner and out of sight.

                “She’s gonna be pregnant by the time we get home.” Bryant muttered shaking his head. Smirking at him Mildred raised her brows in his direction.

                “I guess you don’t want to practice with me huh? Afraid I’ll get pregnant too?” We all watched Bryant try to talk his way out of that but he was failing miserably. After five minutes of trying to make it better Megan finally changed the subject.

                “We girls want to go shopping.” She said. Both Vivian and Rachelle lit up at the word shopping.

                “Yes, I want to check out the locals and see if I can’t find some cool stuff.” Rachelle said excitedly. Turning to me Vivian batted her eyes.

                “You don’t mind do you?” Shaking my head I smiled.

                “By all means… be safe and have fun.” I watched as the girls along with Kallum, Micah and Declan headed off in a taxi towards town.

                “So… what are you guys gonna do?” Bryant asked as we walked back to the hotel. I didn’t look in Sean’s direction but I could feel him looking at me.

                “I’m gonna catch a nap. I tried to stay awake as long as possible but I can’t.” I said yawning for a good effect.

                “I need to call my mom. She’s already left three messages asking did we land okay. If I don’t call she’ll come down here… and we don’t want my mom coming down here. Afterwards I’ll go for a swim.” Sean said scrolling through his phone.

                “Come wake me and I’ll go with you to the beach.” I said trying to sound causal. Turning to Bryant I asked him what he was about to get into and he frowned.

                “I need to talk to a manager or something. I need to redeem myself when Milly gets back. It’s either that or not have any more fun the rest of the trip.” Bryant grumbled. Slapping him on the back I tried not to smile in his face.

                “Good luck with that.” I said before heading off to my room. I so wanted to snatch Sean up and take with me but I couldn’t… well at least not now anyway.

Bryant’s POV:

I walked with Sean towards the open veranda and took a seat at an empty table. While he went through his phone I cleared my throat and tried to build my courage.

                “Just spit it out already.” Sean said looking up from his phone.

                “Do you like McClane?” I asked. He blinked twice before settling back in his chair.

                “Yeah… he’s a cool dude. I’ve got no fault with him.” The image of him and McClane kissing kept popping up in my head. It was now or never.

                “I saw you two on the plane… I won’t tell anyone but … you guys gotta be more careful.” I swear all the color drained from Sean’s face. Sitting up he looked around then back to me.

                “You saw what?” He whispered. Leaning in I lowered my voice too.

                “You were making out with one another…. I’ve got no problems with it. From what Declan says dude on dude sex is awesome… it’s just… we all know McClane’s reputation. Even though you may not think of me like that… I see you and Micah as my best friends. I don’t want McClane hurting you.” Looking down to his phone Sean sighed. Closing his eyes he rubbed his temples.

                “I can’t help myself when he’s close. I don’t know what this is. One minute he’s Declan’s older brother. Next minute I can’t stop myself from wanting to kiss him. I don’t know if this is a good idea but for now I’m just living for today.” I understood what he was saying. It was the same for Milly and me. One minute she’s my geeky neighbor and the next I’m having wet dreams about her.

                “Just don’t fall too deep until you’re sure. I don’t want to have to pay someone to kick McClane’s ass.” I said standing from the table.

                “Pay someone?” Grinning I looked out at the ocean.

                “Hell yeah pay someone. Have you seen McClane without his shirt on? He would crush me in one blow. I may be slow but I’m not crazy.”

I wrote this chapter three times. I wanted it to flow like water and in the first two tries it didn't flow. I hope you've enjoyed The Only Expection as I have enjoyed writing it.
