Hello dear agony, do you ever leave
Seems like just yesterday you were here
Destroying my world as if it were:
The thinnest paper
The most fragile glass
The most brittle clay
Oh how I wish you would leave.
Hello dear friend, it’s been so long
Since I’ve needed your helping hand
Because nothing can compare too:
The glistening red you bring about
The feel of you; so cold
The happiness you bring
Oh how I love you so.
Hello dear pain, we meet again
I wish I didn’t need you to feel okay
Even though you’re killing me you save me:
The sweet release that comes with you
The reassurance that I do have some control
The way you remind me, I’m still alive
Oh how I need you now.
