Camila sat at the end of the couch with Sofi beside her and Lauren on the other side of Sofi. She would steal subtle glances at the taller girl every now and then. She found it enduring. Her little sister was cuddled up to the girl she normally had trouble tolerating for only a few minutes to now feeling like she didn't want the girl to leave anytime soon.

Lauren carefully adjusted herself so she could reach into her pocket to grab her phone. Careful now to wake the small girl sleeping on her, she pulled the phone out of her pocket and checked the time. She been there for four hours and now it was getting late.

"Camz," she whispered to get the brunettes attention. "She's asleep. I need to go home, it's late."

Camila gave her a soft smile. A smile she had never seen the girl give before. It made her heart beat quickly. She couldn't help but smile back.

"Here, stand up and she can lay all the way down when you get up." Camila motioned with her hands. "Try to be careful though."

Lauren nodded and carefully pulled the little girl off of her and stood up quietly. She let the little girls body down gently until she was laying against the cushions fast asleep. She noticed the brown eyed girl standing up and walking toward the front door, so she followed.

Lauren pushed her hands in her pockets and came to a stop in front of the brunette. "Same thing tomorrow?"

Camila nodded. "Yeah, do you want me to ride with you again?"

"If you want to," Lauren said, taking a small step forward. "I don't mind."

Camila's hand was resting on the doorknob. Her head tilted upward to look up at the green eyed girl who seemed to only be about an inch in front of her. She couldn't gather her thoughts with the close proximity. After a few seconds, she saw the girl pull her hand out of her pocket. She reached out and rested it on her hip before leaning down and pressing a soft, lingering kiss on the brunettes cheek.

"Goodnight, Camz." Lauren whispered against her cheek before retracting her hand and stepping out into the cool dark night.

Camila's hand came up to her cheek. She could still feel the emerald eyed girls lips on her skin. She'd only been kissed once and that was by a boy she couldn't even stand to look at anymore. He was a terrible kisser. She could tell Lauren would be a better kisser by just getting a kiss on the cheek from her. Wait, why was she even thinking about kissing Lauren. Thankfully, she didn't have to think about it much longer.

"Kaki?"

Camila sighs. "I'm right here, sweetie. Come on, it's time to go to bed. Mami and Papi should be home soon," she says, walking into the living room and helping her sister up stairs.

She got her sister get ready for bed. She tried keeping her thoughts of Lauren away as much as possible, but it seemed to be more difficult than she'd hoped. She knew the girl was trouble. She had been going to school with the her for her whole life, and she's seen the taller girl blossom from a shy little girl into a beautiful young adult who could charm anyone.

Camila crawled into bed after changing into her night clothes and putting away all of the supplies she'd left when she went down stairs to the surprise of Lauren watching tv with her sister. She needed to stop thinking about this, but if it were only that easy.

The next morning was like any other morning. She got ready for school and ate breakfast with her family before heading off, but what she didn't expect was when she arrived at school, she hadn't anticipated all of the stares and whispers everywhere she received from the entire student body she felt like. She was confused to say the least until...

"Hey, Camila."

Lauren.

"What's going on?" Camila questioned. "Why is everyone staring at me? What did you do?"

Lauren furrowed her eyebrows. "What do you mean what did I do? I don't know why they're staring at you. Probably because you look beautiful though."

Camila rolls her eyes. "Can you just.. Not. I'm not in the mood."

Lauren squinted her eyes at the smaller girl. "I was complimenting you, Camila. The least you could say is thank you."

"Thanks," Camila mutters before walking away from the taller girl.

After only a second of walking something in her head clicks. She goes to turn around but is met with another body clashing into hers causing her to stumble backwards but instead of hitting the floor, she felt a pair of arms wrap around her body and hold her up right.

"Be careful," Lauren says quietly and Camila can hear the concern in her voice and for a moment she lets herself relax against the taller girls body.

Only for a moment.

Camila puts her hands against the raven haired girls shoulders and pushes her back. "This! This is why they're staring at me, Lauren. They think– they think we hooked up because we left together yesterday. You have to.. Just tell them that we didn't."

Lauren smiles. "You don't want people think we hooked up?"

Camila lets her head fall back and crosses her arms over her chest before looking back at the taller girl. "No, Lauren Jauregui. I don't want anyone thinking that. You have to fix this."

Lauren notices a few freshman staring at them and she throws her hands up. "What? What the fuck are you looking at? Two friends can't talk and hang out outside of school without everyone thinking they fu–"

Camila's hand flies up to cover Lauren's mouth and she can feel the girls lips quirking upward into her hand. "I didn't mean like that, Lauren Jauregui."

Lauren shrugs and peels the smaller girls hand off her face. "Well, you didn't exactly specify how you wanted me to fix this."

"Oh my god, you're insufferable."

"We're still studying at your house tonight right?" Lauren calls as the brown haired girl starts to stalk off.

She couldn't help but laugh when she sees Camila's middle finger fly up in the air.
