Ones about Damien finding me and taking me back to castle where I continued to be a slave. I remembered the nightmare so vividly. I was so old and brittle with gray hair in a maids outfit. Damien was still as young as he always appeared and he was as harsh as ever. I remembered in the dream how he would curse and hit me. I would beg him to stop, but he would laugh.

"Master Damien, I have done nothing wrong to you. I don't deserve this! For God's sake, I am an old woman!"

"Claire, you are nothing, but a slave. You always thought we would live happily ever after since we are mates. Well, let me tell you something. Once a slave, always a slave. Besides why would I want a human when female vampires are lined up for me?"

Coming back to reality, I let a silent tear trickle down my chin and it accidentally fell on Chase's check. Chase began to slowly wake up and had a worried expression in his face.

"Claire, what's wrong? Is there something I can do?"

I shook my head, "No,no. Everything is alright. I'm fine. I was thinking about something, but it's not important anymore. Isis is ready to leave. We've started waking the others."

Chase wiped his eyes then stood up mumbling," Oh, okay."

Once everyone was awake, we put the remaining flames of the fire out and Winter began to lead the way to the carriage. When we arrived to it she opened the door for me and gave me a sly smile.

"You first, Your Majesty. Don't worry I don't bite."

Before Winter did try to actually change her mind and take a nibble, I stepped into the carriage and gasped. Inside the wooden carriage were two rows of red velvet seats and the windows were tinted.

Toward the bottom of the floor lay leather holster straps to hold their weapons. Some weapons were already on the holster straps when I walked in. There were axes, spears, guns, broadswords, and who knew what else and I shivered. It was a bit frightening in here.

"Scared Claire?" Winter whispered into my ear with her arms crossed.

There was a mocking tone in her voice, but I decided to ignore her as I sat down in the back row. Once everyone else got into the carriage, Leon said he would take the reigns of two black stallions. Leon was the last to take his seat after Chase sat next to me and Isi sat with Winter. I could see Leon's back through the glass window toward the front and the carriage began to move.

We were in the carriage for a lifetime and Chase and I began to get bored so he offered to play I Spy. He went first.

"Okay Claire, I spy something...blue."

I tapped on my chin for a second and Chase laughed. As if I couldn't guess this! Chase wasn't very good at this game in my opinion.

"Gee...is it...hmm... I don't know, the sky?"

He nodded yes when I rolled my eyes. It was my turn now. I began to look around until I found a ladybug on the window of the carriage.

"Okay...I spy something red and black. Can you guess it?"

Chase had tried for a really long time to figure it out and after a while, he just started shouting out random words. I shook my head sleepily as my eyes got heavy. He eventually gave up.

"Nope. It was a ladybug on the window." I yawned.

The last thing I heard was him groan before darkness surrounded me.

"Night Chase."

"Night Claire."
