I rolled my eyes when I heard the door to our apartment open. Namjoon was back. How is he going to have the nerve to come home late when he hasn't answered my calls or texts all night? Neither of us said a word to each other as he went straight into the bedroom. A few minutes later, he came out, he was changed into grey sweatpants and a black v neck, and he held his phone in front of my face.

"What is this?"

"What?"

It was his call log and my name was at the top. "Look at how many times you called me, 9,"

"Yeah, so?"

"Why the hell are you blowing up my phone?"

I scoffed and sat up from the couch. "Well why the hell didn't you just answer the first time?"

"I was busy! You know, with my job?! I told you that if I don't answer the phone right away, I'm busy working. Haven't I told you that?"

"Well how can I be so sure?" I mumbled.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"You know,"

"What, you think I'd be cheating on you?"

"Actually, my first instinct I that something is wrong, but seeing as you cheated on your last girlfriend, why not?!"

"That was five years ago! I was younger then! I didn't love her like I love you,"

"Don't you know that saying once a cheater always a cheater?! How can I be sure that you're not fooling around when you say you're just working?!"

"You really think that low of me? Fine! How about I live up to your expectations," He grabbed a jacket and stormed out of the apartment.

"Did he really just leave?" I asked myself.

I scoffed and went to our room, slamming the door. Tears threatened to fall and I angrily tied my hair up and went to bed, silently crying myself to sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night with a killer headache. Assuming it was from my tight ass bun, or all the screaming earlier, I lazily reached up and gently yanked the hair tie out and groaned quietly. I slowly opened my burning eyes and saw the corner of the room illuminated by the computer screen. Namjoon was back, and up late again working. I groaned at the sight of him.

'Jerk,' I thought.

I went to the bathroom, hesitantly turning the light on preparing to be blinded. I shielded my eyes as I wobbled over to the mirror, pulling it out to reveal the hidden cabinet. I reached for the pain relievers, popped one out and into my mouth. I held my messy hair back as I ended down to take a drink from the faucet. Turning the bathroom light off, I ran into the door frame.

"Ow," I mumbled.

"Hey, are you okay? Did I wake you?" Namjoon asked, holding his headphones below his ears.

"No, I'm fine," My throat was dry despite the recent drink of water. Why he's so concerned all of a sudden, I don't know. I grabbed my head and crawled back into bed, pulling the covers up to my chin. I could feel Namjoon still looking at me so I shuffled around trying to get comfortable. I reached up to hold the sides of my head and groaned.

"Babe, what's wrong?" I slowly sat up.

I was tired, mad, my head hurt like hell, and someone asked me what was wrong, so naturally I got emotional. My eyes started watering and I pulled me knees into my chest. "My head hurts and I can't go back to sleep," I mumbled, voice cracking.

Namjoon sighed and got up from the computer desk and came over to the bed, sitting next to me. "Come here," His hands found their way to my head and his thumbs pressed into my skull.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Shh," Within a minute, I started to feel relief and the throbbing had calmed. Namjoon raised his eyebrows, a concerned look on his face. "Better?" He asked, wiping my wet eyes.

I nodded. "Your head is hot though. I'll be right back," He went to the bathroom. I heard the faucet running and he came back out with a cold, wet washcloth. "Lay down," I laid on my back and he set the cloth on my forehead and eyes, his big hand pressing down lightly.

A second later, he got up. I heard him walking away. I lifted the bottom of the cloth and peaked out. "Are you going back to work?" I asked.

He shook his head. He saved whatever he was doing and shut down the computer. The room darkened when he turned the monitor off. I just saw his silhouette getting closer to the bed and he climbed in next to me. He grabbed my hand, making me let go of the cloth and placed it back over my eyes.

"When did you get back?" I asked.

"I never left. I just went to the lobby and checked the mail since I forgot on my way in," He said.

I paused before asking, "Are you still mad at me?"

He sighed. "I'm sorry," He said. "I just got a little irritated and got mad. I didn't mean to be so harsh,"

"I just worry about you, that's all," I mumbled, pulling the cloth up above my eyes.

"I know," He pulled my hand to his lips and kissed it.

"I just wish you would at least send me a text of something as small as a single letter, just so I know you're okay, or you're not ignoring me," I said.

He chuckled. "Alright, I'll make sure to from now on. But you have to promise not to freak out if you don't get that text right away,"

"I promise," Namjoon pulled me into his chest and planted a kiss on the base of my neck.

"Get some sleep," He whispered. "I'll see you in the morning,"
