"I never knew that Saudi Arabia has so much children in need!", I exclaimed, as me and Jake unpacked.
Me and Jake flew over to Saudi Arabia after Christmas, and helped the children in need. We discovered things that we didn't know. We had a good time, getting to know children, knowing that we can help them.
"I'm tired, Jake.", I said. "Wanna watch a movie?"
He gave me a warm smile, and walked over towards me. "Or, we can do something else?"
I smiled, and his warm lips pressed into mine, as his hands ran through my brunette curls. I felt warm, because he kept me warm, and I felt happy when I'm with him. I was wrong about him, in every single way, and we were happy together. Then, my phone rang.
It was Clyde, my foster dad.
"Hello?"
"Hi, I've got some worrying news for you. Its really bad." His voice was shaky.
"What is it?"
He sighed. "It's your foster mother.", he said. "She's got terminal cancer. She's dying."
He hung up, and I stood there silently, as I saw the whole world crashing down before my eyes.
