"kkeut?"

haeri stares at the already emptied biscuit container in front of her. blinking her eyes, she couldn't believe that she had came to the end of those letters so soon. she scratched the back of her neck and had her head tilted to one side.

weird, she thought.

haeri swears that there was still one more crucial piece of those letters. but no matter how hard she had searched through her locker or the cardboard box later on, it just couldn't be found. thus, letting out an exasperated sigh, haeri eventually trudged back to the original table and sunk down onto the chair. she remained submerged in her own thoughts still but it was then, someone approached her and knocked hard onto the table, catching her attention.

"mind if i sit here?", the voice asked.

haeri took a glance up and she displayed a look of blatant shock. her eyes widened when she found the familiar young boy smiling at her from the front initially, but nevertheless, she managed to maintain a calm composure. thereafter, returning him with a weak smile, she eventually nodded her head and gestured for him to settle down.

"what's up, ji-woon?", she then asked.
